Civil & Transportation Design (CTD) is a civil engineering consultancy, based in Hawkes Bay. At CTD we work closely with our clients in the public and private sectors to provide specialist civil engineering design services throughout New Zealand. Our technical knowledge and skills include: • Geometric road design, including realignments, interserctions, roundabouts and carparks • 2D and 3D vehicle tracking analysis • CAD drafting • Pavement design • Technical design reviews & advice • On-site design / safety review of existing roading infrastructure • Modelling of earthworks and pavement volumes to prepare schedule of quantities • Preparation of technical specifications and construction contact documents • On site construction management of roading projects (MSQA) • Project Management We use industry standard civil design and drafting software to ensure our outputs are produced accurately and efficiently. At CTD we also draw on our vast professional network to work closely with other consultancies based all over NZ including: • Transportation engineers • Stormwater, wastewater, and water engineers • Geotechnical engineers • Planners Our contacts in the above disciplines ensure we can field the right project team with the correct technical abilities to deliver on projects requiring multi-disciplinary inputs.
