This year, twenty apprentices completed their learning programs and are using their training and technical skills within our Trans-Tasman business. Herby has often spoken about investing in our future. It is no secret that as machines become more sophisticated, customers will require a greater level of service and support. Providing the right tools to perform the job efficiently and a comprehensive training program will help us, and it will help our customers. Completing their accreditation takes a lot of hard work and dedication, from both the apprentice and their supervisor, and we are super proud to be involved in the journey of our graduates this year. Yesterday Landpower celebrated the opening of our new state-of-the-art agricultural retail hub in Yaldhurst, Christchurch. The purpose-built facility is home to three former sites across Canterbury – the Templeton retail store, training facility, and our parts centre and support office. It confirms our commitment to our people and a strong agricultural future, one that creates efficiencies and ultimately allows Landpower to deliver a better product, customer experience and service to local farmers and contractors.
