Te Ngaengae Pool and Fitness recently opened in Naenae, Lower Hutt, after the closure of the old pool in 2019. A loss that hit the community hard. Hutt City Mayor, Campbell Barry describes the completed project as " a state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly facility..." The new facility is so environmentally sustainable, it's design has earned it an impressive 5 Green Star Rating by the New Zealand Green Building Council.
