Spending some quality time with the team from Wool Impact Limited talking about how to grow your brand. Tips include: ● Consider where or how your users listen. Is it Tiktok or Newstalk? Radio or Iheartradio online for rural areas? ● Learn how the algorithms work on social media. ● For google make sure you are indexed, use keywords, have a business listing and try adwords but don't commit to 12 month contracts. ● If you search your own brand in Google, make sure to click on it, otherwise it lowers your ranking. ● Pay attention to data and patterns. Final moisture retention measurement of our wool pellets versus soil before we switch to nitrate and phosphate testing. Wool still showing a significant difference in moisture retention even after an extended hot dry spell. Before we put any claims on our product we want to prove it. And we have. 🤓🥳 #growwellwithwool

Great to see Nick from Container Space today. He took the time to check out our site to make sure the hiab with 40 foot container could actually get in. He advised what branches to cut back, a fence pole to pull out, and where to put a roading grate. If you are looking for a container/ sleepout /office, these guys are the ones to go to. Anyone can sell you a container, but these guys really take care of their customers. We can't wait to have our new workshop up and running.

Sold out!! Congratulations to Gaylene Hosking who nabbed the last two bags. We look forward to seeing the results - pictures please! Gaylene and I were talking about how well the pellets will last. As long as it's dry and out of soil, wool can last for years. The magic only happens when planted in the garden. #growwellwithwool

Great to be featured on National Radio this morning as one of several positive news stories for our primary industries. Our bit starts 2 minutes in but it's also great to hear the sawmill revitalisation. https://lnkd.in/grBqN5Ej

Great to see our journey inspiring engineering students, here and internationally. #growwellwithwool

Had a fantastic day teaching overseas engineering university students about incorporating sustainability and innovation in their fields. The students engaged in a Social Business Canvas exercise focused on the Fleecegrow business. In just a short hour, they gained hands-on experience understanding how businesses can make a positive impact. One highlight was taking the students on a walk in Auckland city to explore sustainable initiatives by the Auckland Council. From the Library to the City Rail Link sites and Britomart, we witnessed exemplary engineering and design practices. Despite being subtly integrated, these green initiatives play a crucial role in enhancing our city's carbon footprint. With a flipped classroom approach, the students took the lead in learning and presenting outcomes. I valued their insights on climate change and learned from their observations. #teaching #sustainability #engineering

Once only, very limited offer. 500g bags of No Poo Pellets, perfect for those shying away from compost or manure $14.99 plus shipping (NZ only). We have just 12Kg of scoured wool pellets infused with a seaweed soil concentrate, perfect as a slow release fertiliser and for moisture retention. Buy now, we won't be doing them again (unless we can figure out a way to stop scoured wool from jamming up the machine!). https://lnkd.in/gFJqcTb4

One week ago we placed our soil test jugs out in the sun. At the time they were fairly similar in moisture with the wool pellets slightly wetter. After one week of mid high 20s, we can now see a distinct difference. Success for our wool pellets confirmed in holding that moisture within the soil! We'll keep it out there though and see how long the difference lasts for. So exciting to see. #growwellwithwool
