About us

Global Travel Network was formed by Rob Beecher and Allen Bell in partnership with House of Travel Holdings on 19th October 2015 and commenced trading on 4th January 2016. The core objective of the company was to provide a reliable support network for Independent Travel Agents in the New Zealand market. Proudly 100% NZ owned and operated. With the backing of House of Travel, GTN has financial stability, credibility and a great reputation. At the same time, GTN is managed and run as an independent company, able to move nimbly and react quickly to the changing market forces that occur in the independent travel space. GTN is the only company in NZ that is set up solely to look after independent agents. We do not own or franchise our own shops, broker networks or travel management companies. GTN is a buying group, working in partnership with suppliers and airlines along with our family of agents and brokers. Our aim is to have a fair and equitable relationship with all our partners and our core values are Honesty, Integrity and Transparency. GTN is NZ’s fastest growing travel group. Our members stretch from Whangarei in the North to Dunedin in the South. We have members that hail from a variety of ethnic backgrounds – Japan, China, India, Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Nepal, the Philippines, Samoa and of course, we have a large number of Kiwi agents all around New Zealand. The team at GTN are all passionate about what we do. We have a very experienced and efficient team of 8 – Rob, Allen, Jeni, Sonia, Rochelle, Carolyn, Rebecca and Grace. We value the relationships we have with our agents and suppliers and are always happy to share our expertise to advise and support our community of agents. We recognise that the success of GTN is reliant on the success of our agents and suppliers. GTN has experienced exponential growth ever since it started trading and our travel agent members are reaping the rewards of its success. DON’T JUST GO – GO GLOBAL!!
