Healthy accessibility In the physical world, adapting environments to improve accessibility benefits everyone. Smooth, wide pavements and kerb ramps are important for people with impaired vision and those using wheelchairs, but are also appreciated by parents with strollers, shoppers and their trolleys, and those brave individuals riding skateboards. It’s the same online. In what seems an age ago, but was actually less than a decade, we were adapting standard desktop websites to make them more accessible on mobile devices. The thing is, designing a website to work well on your phone makes it less cluttered and easier to navigate on your laptop, too.
