🚀🚀 Exciting Update from This Week! 🚀 🚀 On Monday, our team had the incredible opportunity to lead a Crisis Management and Media Training session for a dedicated Christian organisation at their headquarters. 🌟 We dove deep into strategies for handling a potential crisis and honed their spokesperson’s media skills to maintain transparency and openness with their stakeholders and the public. 🌟 This 8-hour workshop follows our 7-stage Crisis Management Plan (CMP). This workshop allows attendees to role-play a potential crisis scenario such as a natural disaster, physical threat, technological failure, operational failure, ethical/ moral/ legal breach, regulatory/ compliance failure, or product-related issue. Attendees must make decisions quickly under pressure while answering media calls and preparing for a practice media interview. 👨💻 At the end of this training, attendees were able to: ✅ Identify potential crises relative to their organisation. ✅ Complete the Crisis Management Plan Workbook and have a comprehensive strategy and plan for responding to crises, including team members' roles, responsibilities, communication protocols, and escalation procedures. ✅ Demonstrate appropriate communication crisis response strategies and techniques for managing the immediate response to a crisis, including initial statements, media handling, and social media management. ✅ Nominated spokespersons were Media Spokesperson Trained on how to communicate with media outlets during a crisis effectively, and had a process for crafting consistent and compassionate messages that align with the organisation's values. ✅ Understand the importance of social media and have strategies for monitoring and responding to online conversations and addressing misinformation or negative sentiment on social media platforms. ✅ Identify the importance of stakeholder communications during a crisis and the appropriate channels and order of stakeholder communication. 🙌 Most importantly, they proved they could face challenges confidently and gracefully while making decisions as a team under pressure. 💪 It was inspiring to see this client’s commitment to improving processes to be prepared if the worst happened. Swipe through the photos to catch a glimpse of the training in action! Do Churches Need PR? There are many misconceptions about Public Relations (PR), so it's important to explain what it is and is not. This article gives examples of good public relations and bad public relations (so that you can recognise an unhealthy culture from the onset). Best-practice stakeholder communication processes, policies and training are vital in ensuring church environments are healthy and safe for our communities. ❤️

We're back and ready for all 2024 has in store! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and a great start to the New Year, and are as expectant as we are for 2024 😃🥳 We've been in planning mode this last week, and now, with our 2024 strategy completed, we are already ticking items on our 90-day plan. Feels good, doesn't it?!👩💻✅️✅️✅️ This year, we are excited to announce a big change for us: Spencer Nutsford is stepping into a new role with the wonderful World Vision NZ. As the Church Relationship Manager for the lower North Island (Tauranga - Wellington), Hannah will now be the main point of contact for anything Kingdom PR, but we are super pleased that Spencer will still be helping out behind the scenes. 🧑💻 So what does this mean for Kingdom PR? Well, we aren't slowing down, but we are growing up. We will be looking for value-aligned public relations practitioners and communication practitioners as our work continues to grow. 😀 We can't wait to share the journey with you! Be sure to keep up to date with us on our social pages and website www.kingdompr.co
