Pak n Save Thames has recently enhanced its waste management program with the introduction of an XPress200 general waste compactor. This initiative primarily targets the reduction of soft packaging waste generated from the butchery and bakery departments. Larissa Fisher, the Compliance Manager at Pak n Save Thames, highlighted the enthusiastic reception of the compactor. "The butchery manager absolutely loves it," Fisher noted. "He was there for the initial training and has fully embraced the compactor, taking the initiative to train the rest of the crew." The compactor's ability to significantly reduce the volume of waste is a crucial advantage.
