We were out early this morning alongside hundreds of Service Personnel and members of the general public, to witness the Dawn service and parade in Commemoration of ANZAC Day. It was moving to see so many people out on this lovely morning to commemorate this important chapter in the history of New Zealand and Australia's armed forces. From retired service personnel to many young children, everyone was there to commemorate the occasion with solemnity and respect. “Lest we Forget”.

Driving engagement between Industry and the New Zealand Defence Force
About us
Our key focus is, enabling Members to be informed about, understand and support, the Crown’s Defence and National Security procurement programmes. An essential element of this focus is NZDIA’S role, in conjunction with many Government procurement programmes, of creating opportunities to share industry innovation and thinking, with Defence and other agencies, to help shape their decision making and future capability vision. NZDIA delivers to members through a wide range of mechanisms. The most valuable is creating opportunities for face to face interaction, learning and trust building, between defence and other agency staff and industry.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from the NZDIA Team With the Defence year nearly over, NZDIA would like to take this time to thank all our members and all the Defence/MoD personnel who helped make 2023 such a great year. 2023 was a year where we continued to see the effects of a difficult 2020 and 2021, but Defence and Industry continually demonstrated that they are firmly focused on a productive future and are committed to moving forward with technological and interpersonal innovation and adaptation. It was great to see how the NZDIA Membership is able to drive New Zealand into the future of innovation. We are looking forward to a great 2024 where we can work alongside the newly elected government to ensure a sustainable supply chain, assisting our Defence force in remaining on the technological and operational cutting edge. Ian will be working until closer to Christmas, so please don't hesitate to get in touch, and we will see you all in the New Year with an update on our plans for 2024! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Ian Harman and the NZDIA Team
