Thank you, BusinessFirstNZ and Wayne Macpherson, for the opportunity to speak with the #Manawatu and #Wanganui business leaders on organisational performance. It was great to see local businesses' commitment to pursuing excellence. I was impressed with the workshop participants' willingness to learn and share their knowledge and experience with other participants. It was an insightful experience! Thanks to the Manawatū Business Chamber, the New Zealand Organisation for Quality and BPIR.com (Best Practice Improvement Resource) for supporting the workshop. My special thanks to all our participants from #Manawatu, #Wanganui and #Wellington for joining us despite the bad weather. It was a pleasure meeting you all! We need more such events and consolidated efforts to promote #businessexcellence and related tools to help our struggling #NZbusinesses improve their productivity. #businessexcellence #NZbusinesses #NewZealand #Baldrige #Benchmarking #TRADE #perfromanceexcellence
Another #BFNZ workshop in the bag, number 19 to be exact!! Yesterday's workshop was very well attended by local #Manawatu and #Wanganui business professionals from various industries and professions. Our lead, Atif Baig took us on a #BusinessExcellence journey which set off by asking 'what is excellence?' and 'what is business excellence?' Participants considered the tools of the #Baldrige Excellence Framework against their business enterprises. We learnt the power of self-assessment, #benchmarking and #reflection as part of the pursuit of business excellence journey. Thanks Massey University, #MasseyBusinessSchool, Manawatū Business Chamber, Central Economic Development Agency (CEDA) for your support. Watch out for workshop number 20 coming soon.
