✨ New ✨ You can now setup custom attendance alerts to go out to specific staff, parents/guardians & students, all in one alert. This means that if you want to set up an #attendance notification to alert a student, their advisor and parent when they have been late to class 3 times within a 1 month period, you can set that up in one go–each with it's own custom message. Attendance alerts are saving attendance administrators HOURS each week following up students and parents, and schools are reporting the students are self-correcting behavior as a result.

There are 100's of different customizable Attendance Alerts that you can setup in Orah. And now you can quickly set these up by connecting your existing Attendance data to Orah (approved partners only, though all schools using Orah for Attendance can make use of alerts). We've created this quick template that helps schools track what Attendance Alerts they would like to set up, with some popular alert ideas in there to get you started. Coming early December! Soon you'll be able to see and export key Attendance Metrics for each student from within their student profile. This will give Deans, Advisors and Department Heads the ability to drill down into a students specific attendance patterns to understand why their grades might be dropping, what classes they are frequently missing or late to, as well as check if there are any correlations between behavior notes, well-being check-ins & their attendance records.
