Butterfly Creek was founded in 2002 by John Dowsett, who is currently the general manager. Butterfly Creek consists of a collection of interesting exhibits and animals, as well as incorporating a venue for functions, children's parties, private events, weddings and conferences. Neighbouring Butterfly Creek are Rocket Ropes and Lock n Load paintball, which are owned and operated by the same directors.
