UN Committee member on Rights of the child Philip Jaffé goal is to get 10,000 endorsements of the 2024 declaration on children's rights. Here is the link to add your support www.declaration2024.org

PLEASE SIGN! 👍 The 2024 Declaration was unveiled at the Palais Eynard in Geneva on World Children's Day. The ceremony gathered political authorities, CSO representatives, children, members of the international human rights community and institutions, etc. I would like to reach 10000 signatures by the end of 2024... but I am told it is too ambitious. However, according to Korczak: Dare to dream, something will come of it! So I might as well dream on. Thank you to all who made this day possible, thank you to all around the world who responded with great enthusiasm to the call, and thank you all for the extraordinary work you are already engaged in for the well-being and the rights of children! On the banks of Lake Geneva Ville de Genève, in front of Palais de Wilson is an interesting exhibition on children .. and very appropriate that it features the 100 year anniversary of the Geneva Declaration. As I strolled along I saw the portrait of Eglantyne Jebb and knew that this was going to be worth stopping to look at!! Even if most of it was in French!! Tomorrow, here in Geneva the 2024 Geneva Declaration on the Rights of the Child will be unveiled. The proceedings start around 11.30am ( 9.30pm AEST) You will get to be a part of this wherever you are in the world - Tomorrow ( or tmrw night is in the Asia Pacific) you too can log on and sign the new Geneva Declaration Www.declaration2024.org This is about all children and all of us can support it!! ❤️ International Play Association (IPA World) Play Australia - International Play Association (IPA) Australia International Play Association (IPA) Scotland Play Aotearoa PLAY WALES / CHWARAE CYMRU Play Scotland #play #uncrc #genevadeclaration2024

Launched today! The 2024 Geneva Declaration on the rights of the child. One hundred years later, a recommittment to children’s rights. But this time, you can also make a committment. Www.declaration2024.org Our President, Robyn Monro Miller was present at the event and reports “the challenge now, is to take positive action, in whatever area each of us influences, and make the committment to children’s rights a reality. We are all duty bearers when it comes to our children.”
