SpaceOps NZ was at IAC 2024 in Milan this year. Let's just say that it was great to meet up with old friends and customers, meet new customers and get some good negotiations under way for some really exciting projects. (The photo shows Robin acting as raconteur at one of the IAF Space Operations Committee sessions at IAC).

We are pretty proud of Pete and Rocket Lab, and not only because Pete comes from our town. We were there for Pete's first successful orbital launch, "Still Testing", and Awarua SGS is still used as a Rocket Lab downrange station.

We're thrilled that one of our Warkworth team members Axl Rogers (third from right) is one of six NZ tertiary students selected to work on NASA projects in the US through a New Zealand Space Scholarship. Axl is doing a PhD at the Auckland University of Technology, and during his internship, will work with the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory team that is using Delta Differential One-way Ranging technique to determine spacecraft position. This is directly applicable to the work he will be doing at the Warkworth Space Centre when it begins supporting deep space missions later this year. More on the story: https://lnkd.in/g9QeVpvN
