Having met with Ruby-Grace last week to congratulate her and get a sense of where she wants to take FIX (her multisensory card game helping teach children with dyslexia their prefixes and suffixes) we were blown away! Over 300 incredible business ideas, 5 inspiring finalists and ultimately 1 winner! Dragon’s Ben has blown us away! We had this crazy idea to help turn one kid’s dream into a reality and we’re so proud to announce our winner, Ruby-Grace from Christchurch. Ruby-Grace is an inspiring young woman who is on a mission to help kids with dyslexia and other literacy-based learning challenges get the support they need! Having grown up with dyslexia and realising that there is a real lack of resources for kids with similar challenges after primary school she set out to FIX it. FIX is a multisensory card game designed to help kids learn their suffixes and prefixes but that’s only the start. Ruby Grace is on a mission to provide a full suite of learning resources and support for kids from intermediate age & up. She’s a real inspiration and we can’t wait to work with her to turn her incredible idea into a reality! Choosing was incredibly tough. We were so impressed with all the submissions we received. So, to anyone who made a submission (or whose kids did) - you should be so proud!! The calibre of entries was incredible!
