Updates

  • One year on, the impact our rebrand of Sprout People has had on the business has been really rewarding to see. 🚀🚀 Sprout help deep-tech, SaaS and advanced manufacturing businesses scale through people, culture and leadership. After five years of business their brand was no longer fit for purpose and it was becoming an obstacle in achieving their growth ambitions. It didn't portray who they were and wasn't able to connect with their target audiences. By understanding their customers and the problems Sprout solve for them, we developed a new positioning of 'fuelling ambition' which speaks directly to both founders and employees. New messaging and a complete brand overhaul followed, along with the creation of a new website and suite of collateral. The outcome is an intentionally dynamic brand system that appeals directly to Sprout's target clients in the scale-up and venture capital ecosystem. It's energetic, flexible and the total opposite to typical recruitment brands - because Sprout aren't your typical recruitment business. Sprout now have their ideal customers proactively contacting them which has helped enable their growth objectives. Massive thanks to Brien Keegan, Pip Spyksma, Ariane Tredrea and the whole Sprout team for trusting us with your rebrand.

  • We’re really excited to have been chosen by Tūhura Otago Museum to design and develop their new website. Balancing cultural and commercial objectives, plus integrating over 1.5million collection items, it’s a brilliant brief and we’re looking forward to sharing the new site in 2025.

  • Here’s how we helped a leading Kiwi textile company reposition itself and successfully enter the Australian market. Mulberi was Furtex’s well-loved flagship brand, but over time it had lost clarity on its target audience and as a result, the product offering. In order to achieve their expansion plans and appeal to a more discerning customer, a full rebrand was required. The Furtex team set about redefining the product range, reducing the retailer footprint and doubling-down on their Goodweave commitments. Meanwhile we focussed on defining the customer and crafting an elevated brand identity system. With trademark issues identified in major export markets, an entirely new name was also needed. The name we created was Baya which was inspired from the incredible nests woven by the Baya Weaver bird. To us this was the perfect embodiment of the brand’s focus on distinctive design, natural fibres and handmade quality. Since launching into Australia and NZ, it’s been amazing to watch the momentum building behind Baya especially amongst professional stylists. It’s something we’re really proud to have helped enable. If you’re also looking to expand but your brand is holding you back, get in touch. We’d love to chat.

  • Here's a photo from our Auckland studio classifying what was found during our latest Litter Intelligence survey on Takapuna Beach. It's the lowest density of litter we have found since we've been surveying the beach, at 63 items per 1,000sqm, but the highest percentage of plastics at 76%. However it's still substantially more than what our Christchurch studio recently found at Taylors Mistake - at 14 items per 1,000sqm. These surveys happen right around NZ and the South Pacific as part of this amazing initiative set up by Sustainable Coastlines - the data is used to help inform national and local initiatives to reduce waste entering our waterways. You can learn more about Litter Intelligence and explore all the data on their website: litterintelligence . org

  • ⚡ New work ⚡ Eating clean doesn't have to be bland, or a chore, and now thanks to Clean Meals, it isn't. 🥗 📦 Check out the case study on our website to see how we helped the founders of this awesome start-up bring their vision to life as a nationwide meal subscription business. Spanning strategy, branding, packaging, social and a fully-custom website solving complicated subscription logic, this is a brilliant example of our expertise in helping launch new businesses from start to finish.
