Ultrasound Imaging and Education

We educate and support medical practitioners to use point of care ultrasound in their practice. We provide accredited general and echocardiography training for Emergency Medicine, General Practitioners and Intensivists within New Zealand. Our hands on and relaxed teaching style is focused on providing practical skills that assist with clinical decision making. Wendy Finnie is an Echocardiographer with over thirty years experience and Jill Muirhead is a Sonographer also with over thirty years experience. Both Wendy and Jill have been teaching point of care ultrasound to medical practitioners for over nine years, including the last five years within Ultrasound Imaging and Education. We provide public workshops, training within organisations and individual image reviews for those completing CCPU training or internal credentialing. We are flexible to meet the needs of doctors and enjoy working together to provide the best use of the ultrasound.
