🚨 Big Changes to the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV)! 🚨 Immigration New Zealand (INZ) has announced key reforms to make the AEWV process smoother and more efficient for employers and skilled workers. Here’s what’s coming in 2025: 🔑 Key Updates: ✅ No More Median Wage Threshold – Employers must offer market rates but no median wage requirement. ✅ Reduced Experience – Migrants now need 2 years of experience instead of 3. ✅ New Seasonal Visa Pathways – Launching Nov 2025: 3-year multi-entry visa for experienced workers. 7-month single-entry visa for lesser-skilled workers. ✅ 3-Year Visa for Lower-Skilled Roles – ANZSCO Level 4/5 visa holders get a 3-year duration. ✅ Streamlined Job Check – Faster processing for low-risk employers starting July 2025. ✅ New Earnings Threshold for Families – AEWV holders need NZ$55,844/year to bring children. ✅ Extended Interim Visa Work Rights – From April 2025, work rights expand for visa applicants. ✅ Simplified Employer Obligations – Online modules?
