At Wisk, we’re making everyday, autonomous flight a reality for everyone.
About us
Wisk is an Advanced Air Mobility company developing the first autonomous, electric vertical takeoff and landing air taxi in the U.S. In 2010, our team set out to explore the possibilities of electric, vertical takeoff and landing flight. Since then, we have developed multiple generations of aircraft and conducted more than 1600+ test flights. In 2023, Wisk became a fully-owned subsidiary of Boeing. While we operate separately, this relationship allows us to tap into Boeing’s development, testing, and certification expertise, and more. Headquartered in Mountain View, CA with locations around the world, our vision of delivering safe, everyday flight for everyone is closer than ever to becoming reality.

It's been a productive few weeks for Wisk and #AAM in Texas: ✅ Dan Dalton, Wisk’s VP of Global Partnerships, has been asked to join the Texas Aviation Advisory Committee (AAC). The AAC works with members of the Texas Legislature and the Texas Department of Transportation to provide advice and recommendations on a variety of aviation issues. Thank you to Dan for helping bring Wisk's vision to life in the state of Texas. ✨ ✅ Wisk is happy to support the release of the Texas Department of Transportation's #AAM Advisory Committee report. The report's recommendations serve as a tool to help alleviate surface congestion and help usher in a new form of mobility and economic growth for the state of Texas. Seven of the fourteen recommendations support the advancement of autonomous aviation, helping make Texas a global leader in our industry. 🛫 View the full report here: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/g6G99kgp #AutonomousAviation | #Texas | #UAM

At Wisk, we’re extremely fortunate to have a large number of veterans working throughout our company. Veterans have made incredible sacrifices, bravely defending our safety, freedoms, and shared values at home and abroad. It’s a privilege to have our veteran community – including the family members of veterans past and present – working alongside us each and every day. We recognize the unique experiences, leadership, dedication, integrity, and skills that come from military experience. On this day especially, we reflect and remember how proud we all are to call our veterans friends and teammates.

🚁✨ Wisk and the Federal Aviation Administration’s William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace are thrilled to announce a joint research initiative focused on safely integrating #AAM operations in the National Airspace System (NAS)! Specifically, we're evaluating remotely supervised #eVTOL aircraft operations, a big step forward in the future of aviation. Building on our close collaboration with the FAA and the invaluable work of our partners at SkyGrid as Third Party Service Providers (TSPs), this research will help us assess how remotely supervised aircraft, including our Generation 6, can safely operate under current instrument flight rules (IFR) alongside air traffic control in an advanced simulation environment. In partnership with the FAA Tech Center, we’re utilizing leading-edge airspace simulation capabilities to conduct pilot-in-the-loop and controller-in-the-loop testing. This research supports potential solutions for safe integration of #AAM operations in the NAS, unlocking new opportunities for safety and efficiency for all airspace users. 🌎 This is one more example of Wisk’s dedication to advancing safe, everyday flight for everyone through innovative research partnerships! #Partnership | #NAS | #Research | #FAA
