👷♀️ Reflecting on Woods 2024: Infrastructure 👷♂️ It has been a challenging year, but a few key drivers have meant we are finishing with a bang!   🗝 Key clients' projects have been large enough to weather the ups and downs of the residential market. ⚽ Public roading, sports fields and park works have been completed at Three Kings Quarry allowing the Fletcher Build teams to complete dwellings with new titles. 📈 Work opportunities continue in the Westgate and South Auckland area for both historical and new clients 🌊 Kāinga Ora & Eke Panuku projects are growing further! -Northcote projects completing their compliance phases, -Northcote Town center design is underway. 🎓 Mt Albert Unitec development with Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei is progressing steadily 🥳 and we are proud to have 3 new Chartered Professional Engineers and 1 new Licensed Cadastral Surveyor in the Infrastructure team!!! 👏     We are all looking for to the end of year break! After a well-earned re-charge of the batteries, we'll be ready to get stuck in come January! #WoodsWay #InfrastructureNZ

The Planning & Urban Design team take a leading role in planning out a project, seeing it through from start to finish. Key to their success is the support they provide each other. Their highlights for the year? 🐣 1 baby 💒 1 marriage 🤝 2 planners and 1 urban designer introduced to the team 👨 Euan Williams first commissioner hearing 👩 Emma Howie was welcomed Urban Development Institute of New Zealand UDINZ Auckland Regional Chapter Committee, the Auckland Urban Design Panel Governance Board, and continued her role on the Auckland Committee of the New Zealand Planning Institute   🏡 Countless new residential lots consented across the motu 📈 Approvals secured for rapid roll growth classrooms at eight schools in Auckland 🙌 Appearance at multiple hearings representing a range of clients   🦸♀️ A superlot team; created to improve service to clients delivering integrated 🍬 and the creation of the Lollie Jar for that much needed sweet treat! 📐 Reflecting on Woods 2024: Surveying 📐 Woods Surveying has continued to push the 'boundaries' of their capabilities! With growth in the team to 35 surveyors we have achieved some awesome feats this year! 🎓 4 new licensed surveyors 📜 2 new survey diplomas achieved 🤯 1x surveyor continually topping his class (his second name is now scholarship!!!) 🚤 2 survey toys purchased: a boat and handheld scanner! 🍼 3 new survey babies 🚉 11km of railway replaced 🌚 and far too many night shifts so we can deliver the best outcomes for our incredible clients!! Woods has so much appreciation for the hard work our Surveying teams put into each project.
