After a brief pause in acquisitions due to the slow and unstable environment over the past 24 months in Auckland, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re back in action!   Our first project for 2025 is now underway—an exciting redevelopment of 27 Edinburgh Street into modern workspaces tailored for city fringe occupiers. While this project may be smaller in scale, it’s a great step forward as we reignite our focus on acquiring and adding value to properties.   Our target remains firmly set on opportunities in the $10 million to $50 million range, but we’re always open to the right opportunities, no matter the size. We’re eager to collaborate with talented agents and partners to find those projects that align with our vision.   Exciting times ahead as we get back to doing what we love—driving value through property redevelopment!   Project Details: Edinburgh Street Redevelopment   27 Edinburgh Street is set to undergo a stunning transformation into a modern workspace on 730m² of prime city fringe land.    The building will feature two spacious, open-plan floor plates of 200m² each, complemented by three on-site carparks.    The exterior will boast a natural cementitious render with sleek black aluminium cladding, creating a bold, contemporary look. Inside, salt-and-pepper polished slabs, exposed services, and striking feature track lighting will give the space a clean, industrial aesthetic. This is not just a victory for our team; it represents a significant leap toward a more sustainable future for New Zealand. In today’s world, the necessity for sustainable practices has never been more critical. Climate change and resource depletion are urgent challenges we face. As consumers become increasingly conscious of their environmental footprint, the demand for sustainable packaging options is on the rise. What makes this project so special? It’s all about sustainability!  Aluminium stands out as one of the few materials that is truly ‘infinitely recyclable.’ A staggering 75% of all aluminium ever produced is still in use today, making it a smart choice for environmentally-friendly packaging. Unlike plastic, which can take centuries to degrade, aluminium can be recycled repeatedly without losing its quality, significantly reducing waste and conserving our precious resources. Enter Recorp’s state-of-the-art facility in Wiri, Auckland—a true game-changer in the industry! With the capability to produce over 500 million cans annually, we’re set to end New Zealand’s reliance on offshore suppliers.
