Role Description

This is a full-time role for a NZ Immigration Lawyer at The Migrationist. In this role you will be responsible for assisting clients with the visa application process, providing legal advice, preparing and reviewing immigration documents and conducting research.

We are a modern law firm, and we appreciate that you have a life outside of work. We offer flexibility and trust our employees to get the job done. While the standard hours of work are 9.30am to 6pm (Monday to Friday), we can offer more flexibility if required. Our team meets once a week at our office space in Sylvia Park.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of New Zealand immigration laws and regulations
• Experience in assisting clients with visa applications, complaints and appeals.
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Ability to provide legal advice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Fluency in languages other than English is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
• Admission to the New Zealand Law Society
