The homestay is relatively close to the high-speed rail station, Tianmen Mountain, and the 72 Wonders Tower. The drive is about 20-30 minutes. The service of the housekeeper is very good. For the price, this place is good. However, whilst paying little, I expected to get a basic room, cleanliness is still a high expectation. The bathroom needs more care and there were a few bugs in the room. The receptionist was kind and helped me with finding the location for the Tianmen mountain. The entrance to the ticket office is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel and there are some good local food options. It has the potential to be a great little hotel but needs a bit of TLC.

They also upgraded the house for free and the free breakfast satisfies the tastes of both the north and the south. They told us a story, that once they couldn’t communicate with a foreigner due to a language barrier, and there was a misunderstanding. The foreigner didn’t understand he will be picked by the hotel’s car, and climbed up by himself. While the owners couldn’t use the translator to explain that they will pick him up. So they got a 1 star feedback, which very unfair. So please use the Baidu translator, the owners are very nice people 😊 Also they upgraded our room to a bigger a better one😇

The biggest advantage of the west gate is that it can accurately avoid the queue. We almost never queued for three days. The chef here cooks deliciously and the price is also OK. This is a great choice for a quiet vacation~ I didn’t stay for two days and extended it for another day. 衝著前面遊客的好評才選的這家民宿，一開始充滿了想象。但到了以後發現和想象中還是出入蠻大的。下車之後發現是一片民宅區，本以為民宿在景點旁邊，綠水青山的那種環境。然後打電話***姐來馬路邊帶我們了，是在小巷子裏面。這棟民宿是由一棟私房改造的，周圍也都是私房，環境很一般。去天台看風景，白天視野不佳，周圍都是遮擋物，蠻失望的。但是到了夜晚，氛圍燈都打開以後，還是很好看的。小朋友很喜歡天台上的搖椅，還有小水池裡的小泥鰍，每天都要上去看很久。房間內和網上照片差不多，洗漱用品吹風機都不錯，歐舒丹戴森。床也睡的很舒服。裏面的小姐姐講話温温柔柔的。有什麼問題都很熱情解答。早飯不是很好吃，住了2晚第三天要趕高鐵沒來得及吃早飯。本來想打包點走的，時間趕不上。
