I recently stayed at The Standard Hotel in Hua Hin with my husband and daughter, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, which creates a refreshing atmosphere perfect for a relaxing holiday. The abundant trees provide numerous beautiful photography spots, and the magnificent tree at the center of the hotel serves as a lovely symbol of the place. The swimming pool, while medium-sized, is just right for spending quality time with family. One of the standout features was the impressive breakfast. The staff exhibited excellent service, and I appreciated the option to order eggs; they served them fresh at our table. However, I would suggest that the front desk communicate better with housekeeping. We were provided with only two towels for our stay, which was a bit inconvenient for three people. Also, note that breakfast for children is priced at 400 baht, which you can pay at check-out. On a positive note, there is plenty of parking available, and the hotel is both kid-friendly and pet-friendly. Overall, I highly recommend The Standard Hotel for a great family getaway!

My stay at the Marriott Hua Hin was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is an about 5-10mins from hua hin night market or major shopping centres. So you’ll need to commute back and forth if you want to do some shopping or for meals outside of the hotel but taxis ain’t easy to get during busy hours. We booked two rooms with garden view. The rooms felt a bit old and our boys got really bad mosquito bites all over their face, arms and legs (So beware if you are travelling with kids). There were many activities for kids (badminton, swimming, mini football, kids room) but you do need to queue for your turn as the hotel was busy. Breakfast was buffet styled and the food was ok (but nothing too spectacular) with plenty of local and western options. The spa was very good. I had a deep tissue massage and I just felt so relaxed and slept through half of the treatment. Overall, a well established resort in hua hin with a more traditional or old-school feel to it. If you are looking for a more modern resorts with newer facilities, then this may not be the place for you.

Great location to the beach and smaller shops without being in a crowded busy area. It is away from the main roads. Lovely staff and amenities. There are many pools, 1 fitness area, which is more than enough. The establishment seems to run on community produce and support, which is very considerate and sustainable. - Breakfast could be better, apart from the 1st day's breakfast, which had a cooked noodle station, there was only omelette being offered. A suggestion: the food could be hotter. - It was the rainy season, with many dead fishes, animals all over the beach emitting a foul rotting smell. Apparently this is a seasonal phenomenon during the rainy season. It was very unfortunate and quite unpleasant and pungent. A lovely, quiet, up class place, will return.

This lovely beachfront boutique resort has one of the best beach view among all the other hotel in the neighborhood! Having said, the beach view of this resort is spectacular!! We would love to stay there from day to night if we didn’t have any other plan. Only suggestion of improvement would be the breakfast buffet quality as to enhance the food quality, as well as the airless and musty smell in the dining area. Though, we would love to come back again in the future.

Hua Hin's geographical form is relatively slender, mainly extending on both sides of a road. This hotel is not very new, you need to grab a taxi to the attractions, usually 100 baht. A little further away, it is recommended to charter a car or directly negotiate with the grab driver. You can charter a car by the hour, usually 1,000-2000 baht. You can play the three scenic spots in the north for 6 hours, about 1300-1600 baht. It's nice that the hotel has breakfast, a swimming pool can also soak for a while. There are many old white ladies playing golf here. There are also white people called Miss Thailand Black, the female feeling is not very clean. Haha.
