I was curious about where the rich shop in the Greater Seattle Area so I went around Bellevue Square. It's really nice here—browsing malls, shops, and restaurants. I felt safer walking around here than any part of Seattle downtown especially because the buildings were connected. There were more tourists shopping here, I could tell. We visited this lush botanical garden in the Bellevue area outside Seattle, equipped with some nice walking trails and a cute cafe - perfect for grabbing a coffee and pastry for a relaxing outdoor stroll. The Bellevue Botanical Garden has several acres of display gardens, wetlands and trails. Most of it was generously donated by previous homesteaders who lived here, and admission is free to the public. They also have an adorable gift shop, plants for sale, and a schedule of activities and seminars. Their exhibits are mainly on the 2nd and 3rd floor. On the 2nd floor there is a cool community art room which is great for kids to make their own art and hang it on the walls. On the 3rd floor there is a small outdoor patio area as well you can access behind two doors. The glass show on the second floor was beautiful and inspiring, and I was moved to tears by Julie Green’s project on the stairwell. Overall it's a small building, plan about an hour. Administrative part was good, parking was convenient, ticketing was fast. Today, I brought my cute little one to a large amusement park located in the center of Bellevue (I don't know why it's called a museum in English) again.
