🌟 I recommend visiting the National Museum of China in winter. There are fewer people in line and it's easier to make a reservation. Compared to the long lines and difficulty making a reservation in summer, it's a great time to visit. 🌟 The new building of the National Museum of China retains the original west, north, and south facades of the old building. It has 5 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, with 48 exhibition halls. It is also the largest museum in the world in terms of floor area. 🌟 The exhibitions at the National Museum of China include three series: permanent exhibitions, special exhibitions, and temporary exhibitions. I like the special exhibition of the Roman period in Italy, so I bought a ticket for the special exhibition, which means I didn't need to make a reservation for the permanent exhibition. 🌟 Here is a two-day weekend itinerary for Beijing: 1⃣️ Arrive at Beijing Airport after work on Friday and check in at the Crowne Plaza Beijing International Airport. 2⃣️ Take a taxi to Tiananmen Square on Saturday, and visit the Monument to the People's Heroes and the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. Then, visit the National Museum of China for about 3 to 4 hours. In the afternoon, visit the Palace Museum. In the evening, enjoy the night view of Tiananmen Square. 3⃣️ Visit the Temple of Heaven Park on Sunday morning, and the Summer Palace in the afternoon. Then, head to Beijing West Railway Station to take a train back.
