Wat Chin Prachasamoson (Wat Leng Hok Yi)

Wat Chin Prachasamoson (Wat Leng Hok Yi) is located on Supakit Road, Ban Mai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chachoengsao Province, 1 kilometer from the provincial hall. It is a Chinese Mahayana Buddhist temple that expanded from Wat Leng Nei Yi in Bangkok. This temple was built during the reign of King Rama V in 1906 when he visited Prachinburi Province to open the Bangkok-Chachoengsao railway line and bestowed the name 'Wat Chin Prachasamoson.' Inside the temple, there are several interesting features, including four large paper statues of the Four Heavenly Kings at the entrance, three main Buddha statues, and 18 Arhats made of paper from China. There is also a statue of the God of Wealth (Cai Shen) on the right side of the main Buddha statue and many other deities according to Chinese beliefs. Additionally, there is a large bell weighing over 1 ton. Other sacred halls include the Hall of the Eastern Masters, the Hall of Guanyin carved from a 100-year-old tree root, the Hall of Dizang Wang, the Heavenly Pond, and the Dragon King. This temple is a must-visit for spiritual seekers.
