Transportation Guide - Bus: Take bus No. 4 or the Three Pagodas Special Line to Dali Town No. 2 Middle School Station, and walk to Gantong Cableway Station. - Taxi: Take a taxi in the ancient city to the foot of Cangshan. - Self-driving or walking: Exit the Cangshan Gate of Dali Ancient City, walk along National Highway 214 to Yixian Road, and turn west for about 1 km to reach the Cangshan Cableway. Exit the south gate of the ancient city, walk along Yita Road to the west, and walk about 1.9 km to reach the Cangshan Scenic Area Mountain Trail. Tour Route - Cableway Tour: The Gantong Cableway is cost-effective, and the end point is Qingbi Stream, where you can see the Cangshan Grand Canyon. The Ximatan Cableway has beautiful scenery, and is best in spring and summer when the azaleas are in bloom and when it snows. You can choose to take the Gantong Cableway up, walk along Yudai Road, go up to Ximatan from Qilongnv Pool, and finally take the Zhonghe Cableway down the mountain. - Hiking Tour: If you are physically fit, you can go up the mountain from the Cangshan Scenic Area Mountain Trail to Yudai Road, and then choose to go to other scenic spots. If you want to experience Gantong Temple, Jizhao Nunnery, etc., you can start from the Gantong Cableway Ticket Office, go through Jizhao Nunnery, Zhenlong Chess Game, Qingbi Stream, etc. to Yudai Cloud Tour Road, and then go to Qilongnv Pool and other scenic spots.
