This moment‖I've really arrived in the South Seas~

Staying at one of the world's top three antique hotels, the Eastern & Oriental Hotel in Penang! Opening the window, the hot and humid sea breeze accompanied by the shadows of coconut trees hits me, with a wisp of grey smoke left by the busy cargo ships in the distance. By the poolside, everyone is reading and basking in the sunlight, occasionally interrupted by a few 'plops' of diving sounds. Looking down, I see a few crows stealing afternoon tea. That moment's atmosphere, it's truly like being in the South Seas. The room is the Heritage Wing's Straits Suite, and our room is on the first floor without a room number, named tanjung suite, basically the most perfect window view. If you're staying at the Eastern & Oriental in Penang, I still recommend choosing the Heritage Wing. One reason is that the pool is really chill, and only the Heritage Wing has access to swim; another is because the old building has that sense of the era, preserving a very original old elevator (not operational) and a bulter call discovered in the room, which is worth taking a close look at, very interesting. The hotel breakfast is quite ordinary, so don't have too high expectations.
