The locals, warm and welcoming, shared their rich heritage through traditional dances and rituals, creating an unforgettable experience. Exploring intricately decorated monasteries adorned with centuries-old thangka paintings transported me to a bygone era. The landscape, with its dramatic cliffs and rugged terrain, added to the mystique of the village. Each moment spent immersed in the cultural tapestry of Jhong left an indelible mark, a cherished memory of a place where time seemed to stand still. In 2024, I wish to visit Muktinath.
