Moli Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area (Ruili, Yunnan, 4A)

Moli Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area is a paradise on earth, with its main attractions being the original tropical valley rainforest vegetation and waterfalls, as well as over 1,500 species of wild plants and 479 species of flowers and spices. The ancient trees in the Moli Scenic Area are tall and straight, and the dense forest blocks out the sun. Walking through the forest, you can feel the cool breeze and the scent of flowers on your clothes. At the end of the canyon, you can see a waterfall cascading down from a cliff over 60 meters high. The area is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a flat area of over 10 acres inside. A few dozen meters from the entrance, you will see a hot spring pool, with water as clear as crystal. Legend has it that this was a bath built by wild elephants for the Buddha. Moli Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area Near the hot spring, there is an ancient tree with twisted roots, and beneath it is a golden Dai-style pagoda pavilion, which houses a stone with a giant "footprint" embedded in its sloping rock wall. The toes and palm are clearly visible, and this is the famous Buddha's footprint in the Buddhist world of South Asia and Southeast Asia. The footprint is 96 cm long, 43 cm wide at the front palm, 33 cm wide at the arch, and 52 cm wide at the heel. Believers apply gold powder to it, making it even more lifelike. Not far behind the pagoda pavilion is the Great Buddha Temple, which is crowded with pilgrims during Buddhist festivals.
