The "Romantic Show of Xi'an" also includes a small-scale performance based on the 2008 earthquake in Sichuan, which I highly recommend. It focuses on China's military as they responded to the disaster. Admittedly, the creators have taken some artistic license here, but only in order to convey the tragic nature of the earthquake.
