Trip to Nagoya 🇯🇵
It was a trip to Nagoya and friends. Just to share some of the places that we visited 🥰
We visited Nagoya Castle, which was originally built in 1612. Nagoya Castle was the seat of the Owari branch of the Tokugawa shogunate. It was partially destroyed during World War II but has since been restored.

We also visited Atsuta Shrine. One of Japan's most important Shinto shrines, Atsuta Shrine is over 1,900 years old and is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu.

If you are looking for a restaurant for lunch, I would suggest you to try Atsuta Horaiken. We ordered Hitsumabushi (grilled eel over rice), which is known as Nagoya specialty. It was delicious and we loved it so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Besides, we also walked around the Osu Shopping District. A bustling shopping area with a mix of traditional and modern shops, Osu has been a commercial hub since the 17th century. We were able to buy most of the souvenirs and gifts there 🎁

We also went to Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. We managed to see and learn about the evolution of Toyota from a textile machinery manufacturer to a global automotive leader.

We also explored the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park. We discovered the history of Japan’s railways and learn about the future of high-speed train technology. We find to very interesting and worth to visit if you’re a very “technical person” 🥰

We also spent sometime to walk around Tokugawa Art Museum and Garden. This museum houses samurai artifacts, artworks, and treasures from the Tokugawa family. There are a lot of things to see. If you have extra time, I would suggest visiting this museum!

Last but not least, I would recommend you to try Yamamotoya Honten. Their signature is Miso Nikomi Udon (thick udon noodles in a miso broth). The broth was really good and I even ordered two bowl 😂 The price is considered affordable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
