✅ 'Adventures Through the Lens'
2024.3.1-2024.6.2
A retrospective exhibition of street photography master Elliott Erwitt
This exhibition covers a collection of Erwitt's works over seventy years in the field of photography.
It displays more than 100 photos from Erwitt's career, with the earliest taken in 1949.
Erwitt's iconic black and white photos will be presented along with some lesser-known works and some color photos from later in his career.
Erwitt has a unique ability to be in the right place at the right time, and through his lens, he captures moments of everyday life, each work filled with warmth and emotion, yet with a touch of humor.
✅ The Via Combusta
Exhibition period: 2024.3.9~4.21
Presented by 8 artists, exploring the relationship between technology and invisible forces through mediums such as photography, video, text, and installation art. The curatorial concept is reflected in the golden patterns on the exhibition hall floor, striving to recreate the background ecology of the artists' creation, leading visitors into an experience that connects macro to micro, from nature, city, dwelling, to the body and back to the stars and the sea.
The title borrows from a section in horary astrology where the sun and moon are without light, and is also a metaphor for continuously opening the channel between spirit and technology within oneself, with the hope that this exhibition can awaken thoughts on the relationship between technology and spirit in an era too distant from the spirit.
