I made a strategy before traveling. You can directly climb up to the cable car from near exit 3 of Myeongdong subway station. The round trip for two people is 24000w Korean won. For those of you who live near Chungmuro, I recommend the Namsan Park walking path that you can walk without putting much strain on your ankles and knees. It's in the middle of downtown Seoul, but if you walk for about 10 minutes, you can quietly immerse yourself in thought.. You can even see the archery field (Seokhojeong), which is rare in Seoul.. #koreatrip Autumn is here and one of the best activity is to enjoy the wonderful fall foliages. This year we went to the Namsan trail of maple trees, where thousands of maple trees change colours to glittering red and orange. This is one of the best trail to view the autumn foliage, and we really enjoyed the peak colours. The trail is very quiet and less touristy, so this made our visit much more peaceful and quiet. There are lots of nice and beautiful trees with pictureque backdrops, and we couldn't stop snapping pictures. This trail will eventually lead us to Namsan Tower. We are glad for being able to catch the foliage this year, and will visit again next year.

The path is shaded with greenery, blocking out the sun, but it's still best to bring a sun hat and wear comfortable sneakers for safety and comfort. The scenery along the way is beautiful, so don't forget to take out your camera and capture some memories. Once you reach the top, the view opens up, and you can overlook the city with a sense of clarity and openness. It feels like you're a giant looking down at this beautiful little world. The entire tour takes about three hours, but if you like taking photos and resting, it might take longer. Watching the sunset here is also beautiful, as the sky turns orange and yellow with many golden rays, making the world even more beautiful and captivating. It's truly a great place, a must-visit, highly recommended.

Namsan park provides a wonderful opportunity to feel like you are in a pine forest while you are actually in the heart of Seoul city. It is pretty big with numerous paths to hike/run/walk. Some paths are more crowded, some - are absolutely empty and give a serene feeling of being somewhere far away in the mountains. Plus, it's always good for your cardio to walk some ups and downs! And it is extremely safe even at night. I walked at Namsan mountain park numerous times around midnight and it is safe and quiet in the best Korean way.
