Natural scenery
·Explore the Yehliu Geopark, which is famous for its special geology and topography and considered as a wonder of the world. Feel the charm of "the most Mars-like rocky environment on earth".·Closely touch the unique-shaped boulders in the park which are all gradually formed due to years of erosion and weathering by seawater.·Yehliu Geopark is a good choice whether you are taking children for a parent-child tour or visiting with friends and enjoying the beautiful scenery.△ Yehliu Geopark has a large area and different scenic spots. Among the boulders, the most famous one is the "Queen's Head". As the representative work of the mushroom rock, especially its graceful and noble shape, the queen's head has long been the symbol of Yehliu Geopark. △ In addition to the "Queen's Head", Yeliu Geopark has formed special geological landscapes such as sea caves, honeycomb rocks, bean curd rocks, mushroom rocks, and candle rocks after tens of thousands of years of seawater erosion, crustal movement and weathering.

Where is this place with pretty red lights?!?
#Travel itinerary
I visited Yeliu & Jiufen on the outskirts of Taipei
First of all, Yeliu is said to have been eroded by the sea tide~~
But I went in December and it was so hot!! (Knits are so hot..;) The photo view is really good!!!!🤨
I visited Jiufen at sunset in the evening, and around 6 o'clock, the lights came on one by one and it reminded me of the animation Sen and Chi~~
But be careful of the smell of stinky tofu from the entrance‼️‼️
If you go all the way inside, there is a tea house with a nice atmosphere, so it would be nice to leisurely enjoy the night view of Taiwan~~
Ah, I saw a cute puppy as I entered the tea house, how cute!!🍊#Taiwan #Taiwan travel #Taipei #Yeliu #Yeliu #Jiufen

New Taipei | Yehliu Geopark
👉 Remember to follow the adorable director for more updates 🥰
Yehliu Scenic Area is an international tourist attraction and a great place for foreign friends to visit. It is recommended to avoid the crowded holidays to fully enjoy and take photos.
Yehliu Geopark features unique natural landscapes formed by weathering and marine erosion, creating spectacular scenery.
In hot weather, be sure to protect yourself from the sun and stay hydrated. It is recommended to wear sunglasses, apply sunscreen, wear a light jacket, or a hat with a strap for shade. Using an umbrella is not recommended as it is very windy all year round. There are many Korean tourists, and on holidays, you may have to wait about 30 minutes to take a photo with the Queen's Head.
The full ticket price is 120 NTD if purchased on-site. The large parking lot for cars usually has spaces available even on holidays. Sometimes, due to weather conditions (typhoons) or safety considerations such as strong winds and high waves, the park may be closed or only partially open. It is recommended to check the latest announcements on the official website or Facebook fan page before your visit, or you can call directly to inquire.
It takes about 2-3 hours to explore the entire park at a leisurely pace.

Explore Taipei’s natural wonders: Yehliu Geopark🌟
#TaipeiAttractions
Taipei's Yehliu Geopark is a tourist hotspot that combines natural landscapes and geological wonders. 🌟🌟
Yehliu's most famous landmark, the Queen's Head, has a unique shape that attracts countless tourists to take photos. According to legend, the shape of the queen's head symbolizes strength and elegance. Sea caves and stone pillars of various shapes can be seen in the sea caves. These geological landscapes are the result of thousands of years of weathering and wave erosion. The park has a magnificent coastline, perfect for walking and photographing beautiful seascapes. Rich intertidal organisms can be observed, such as starfish, sea urchins and various shellfish, and the ecological diversity is very rich. 👍👍💯
There are many walking trails in the park, allowing visitors to explore different attractions and enjoy wonderful natural landscapes along the way. A lot of wildlife can be observed in the park, including a variety of birds and plants, making it perfect for nature lovers. The park also provides guided tours to give visitors a deeper understanding of geology and ecology. There are many restaurants and food stalls nearby where you can taste local seafood and specialties, especially the Queen's Restaurant. 👍😋

Queen's Restaurant: A Delicious Surprise at Yehliu Geopark
Queen's Restaurant is located near the picturesque Yehliu Geopark and is renowned for its fresh seafood and beautiful coastal views. The diverse menu is perfect for seafood lovers, especially with a variety of crab and abalone dishes prepared in different ways. We opted for the steamed crab: preserving the crab's natural flavor, paired with soy sauce and vinegar to enhance the sweetness of the crab meat. The wine-steamed abalone: steamed with rice wine, highlighting the abalone's sweetness and tender texture. Other seafood dishes are also seasonal, leaving a lasting impression. 😋😋😋
The restaurant features open sea view windows, allowing diners to enjoy the magnificent coastline while eating. The staff is professional and friendly, offering recommendations based on customer preferences and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant dining experience. ✌️🌹
If you have the chance to visit, be sure to taste the unique dishes and enjoy the elegant environment, adding wonderful memories to your Yehliu trip! 👍👍💯

2024 Yeliu Shiguang Night Visit to the Queen! 👑The more beautiful it gets at night, the beauty of Taiwan’s north coast cannot be missed!
Have you been to the 2024 Yeliu Shiguang Night Interview with the Queen?
It seems like the festival happens every year, but this is my first time to see it.
Entrance is at 6:30 pm and ends at 9:30 pm.
When I arrived at early 6 o'clock, I saw a long queue waiting to buy tickets.
But it’s very safe and buying tickets is very fast.
And you can also pay with mobile phones! It feels great not having to carry cash❤️
As soon as I entered the venue, I felt it was very spectacular.
There are many different lights and designs, which makes you feel like you have entered a fairyland.
The sky from evening to evening is a different scenery.
Well worth savoring.
Finally, be sure to remember to watch the drone show before leaving!
Guaranteed to be spectacular and leave you wanting more😻
After leaving, there are also small vendors outside where you can eat and play.
If you are hungry, there are many seafood restaurants to try.
Awesome!

New Taipei Yehliu Geopark|See the Queen's Head, Pillar Rocks and other sea erosion structures
The most must-go place when you come to the Northeast Corner is Yehliu, which is a cape extending from the Datun Mountains into the sea. Because it is located in the Northeast Corner, it has been eroded by waves for a long time, and the rock weathering caused by wind, coupled with the movement of plates, has created a special landscape here. The most famous one is the Queen's Head. Although it is now fenced off, it still feels very beautiful. I especially recommend taking the bus. The bus has a series of Northeast Corner itineraries and will stop at tourist attractions. It is quite convenient🤩❤️

The Yeliu Geopark in the offshore, in addition to the weathered rocks of different shapes, the sea breeze is really comfortable, and the feeling of fusion with nature is really good. It is famous for the different shapes of rocks and well known of the “Queen’s Head”. It’s wide and a nice place to visit🩷 You can enjoy sightseeing and gift sopping. A place to remember on its uniqueness.

This natural wonder geopark is famous for its different-looking rock shapes.
These shapes formed as a result of sea erosion are an interesting structure that should be seen.

The Queen’s Head in Taiwan
These rock formations by the sea is a must visit when you come to Taiwain. I have booked a one full day trip via KLOOK APP and one of the must seen sites in Taiwan is included in this trip. You get a tour guide and a small group in a private van. Not the extremely crowded type.
There are pretty stop overs along the way that will allow you to take photos and enjoy the scenery!

Heading to taiwan soon and planning your trip? Don't forget to head to Yehliugeopark located at 207, Taiwan, New Taipei City, Wanli District, 港東路167-1號. if you are driving, this is a 40mins drive from the centre of Taipei City.
This is a tourists attraction where it requires an entrance ticket, you can purchase this at the entrance so not to worry. There is 2 entrances here but the ticket counter is only located on the west side of the park.
Do visit this place before more erosion takes place, and you won't be able to see such beautiful formation anymore. The main attraction here is the Queen Elizabeth resemblances located right in the centre of the park. Do also cater about 40-45mins here as the park is quite big.
Yeliu Geopark is a really cool place in Taiwan ❗️
There are various ways to get here, such as private taxi tours, bus tours, etc., but I went there by bus, so I'll leave the bus information.
Take the 1815 bus from the bus stop right next to Taipei Main Station! It takes about 60 minutes to get to Yeliu, costs 96 yuan, and the bus runs at about 10 to 25 minutes intervals.
➡️Get off at Yeliu Yeliu Station and walk for about 15 to 20 minutes to get to Yeliu Geopark!
🧡From the entrance of Yeliu Geopark, mushroom-shaped rocks welcome you. In fact,
the upper part of the rock is made of sandstone that has withstood erosion, and the rock layer below the rock has been eroded by the wind to become mushroom-shaped, so there are mushroom rocks, and honeycomb rocks that are continuously formed by the salt water.
8th photo! The mascot of Yehliu Geopark and the hottest rock here, Queen's Rock, is currently being eroded by the wind, so it may not be seen in the future because its neck may be completely broken.
💖Yehliu Geopark with such a beautiful view! I highly recommend you visit it when you travel to Taiwan!❗️💖
✔️Yehliu Geopark entrance fee
- Adult NT$120
- Concessionary NT$60
⏰ Hours 08:00~17:00
⭐️ TIP ⭐️
!!! Bring your international student ID and get a half-price discount!! ★
I got an international student ID and always carry it with me when I travel abroad, and it's useful everywhere, not just in Taiwan 💖

Taking a photo with the Queen's Head Rock in Taiwan
The Queen's Head Rock, created by millions of years of natural erosion, is a rock that tourists visiting Taiwan should not miss. It is located in Yehliu Geopark, north of New Taipei City. There are many other strangely shaped rocks here, such as the Shoe Rock and the Elephant Rock, but the most popular one is the Queen Rock. You have to wait quite a while to take a picture, but while you are waiting, I recommend taking a picture at the square-shaped rock not far away. I tried taking a picture of my sister, which is quite strange in a different way. It is worth a visit. Open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Stop by to collect some memorable experiences. Travel and learn. #This content is of high quality.

The Queens Head At Yehliu Geopark
#newyearadventure #yehliugeopark #yehliu #rockformation #tourists #attractions #taiwan #keelung
Yehliu Geopark is a popular tourists attraction for many due to thebmany rock formations found thruout the entire park. You will be able to find the most popular queen's head formation where it looks like a queen's head, and at times there will be a long queue for photo taking.
Also, this park has many other rock formation, and due to the wind and seawater this soft limestone erodes and forms these shapes. If you are lucky you be also able to spot some amazing birds here too!
For those who drive, there is a huge parking lot around the area where you can park for a small fee. Also, the entrance to Yehliu Park is chargeable and you can buy it onsite. It will costs you 200TWD per person, abit expensive but its still good to go as you will not be able to find these rock formations else where.

The Feeling is Very Refreshing and Relaxing.
Yehliu is a cape on the north coast of Taiwan. It’s known for Yehliu Geopark, a landscape of honeycomb and mushroom rocks eroded by the sea. Well-known formations named for their shapes include the Queen’s Head and Dragon’s Head. The park is also home to birds such as ospreys and little egrets. In the village of Yehliu, the elaborate, 19th-century Baoan Temple was built using materials from an abandoned boat. ― Google

natural art in Yehliu Park
#artshunting
Yehliu Park was fascinating, which is home to interesting geological formations.
The rock formations have been shaped through the centuries by wind and water erosion. The most popular formation, which attracts a long line of queue for photo taking, is the Queen’s head. This formation is "suffering" from a thinning neck from erosion and may soon topple. So, do visit before it happens!

Be awed by Queen's head
Yehliu Geopark is one of the attractions that you must visit in Taiwan. It is famous for the Queen's head. You need to queue up and there is somebody manning the queue! The staff also helps to prevent people from getting too close. That is how precious this rock formation is.
There are also other rock formations so prepare to spend 1 to 2 hours here if you wish to take photos with all of them.
If looking at rocks is not your cup of tea, then try the ocean view here. The waves are big as it is very windy here.
If you come in summer, it can be quite warm so take refuge at a small shop that sells cold beverages and dessert.
