A villa home away from home🏖, just 15 minute drive south of the airport which is great for a late arrival flight like ours. our plan was to travel Bali a little but after arriving at such a peaceful paradise we decided to just stay in our villa and relax. The private 🏊🏻pool is a really good size with extra shallow part in the shade if you have smaller children. cooking facilities available although the food from the restaurant was delicious, the salmon was a highlight as were the salads 🥗. Breakfast was pretty good too good selection and eggs to your liking every morning. Fridge was a good size and just what we needed to keep your drinks cool ready for the cocktail mix 🍹🍸😋. Dining area was beautifully set up every morning, and it just had such a lovely home away from home feel, whether it was reading a book by the pool or splashing around in the pool. There are 2 other big pools 🏊🏻in communal areas where you can just enjoy the view and green scenery, very clean and well maintained😀. It was constructed in the 1930s. The villa was built for a Danish princess, but she has never come here. Here you can find the portrait of princess Margaretha and her family. I think this villa is unique not only for being Danish princess mansion but also for its color. The view from the building is very beautiful too. We were lucky to be upgraded to a 1 bedroom villas facing the sea with the pool also situated right infront of our room. We also had a covered pavilion for an evening mookata by the hotel themselves. There are also 2 Bathroom, one indoor and outdoor with a self soak jacuzzi infront of our room. This was one stay not to forget!

The staff at the The Shalimar Boutique Hotel in downtown Jawa Timur were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful, and always available. The bed was super comfy. I will always stay at this location when traveling to or through Jawa Timur. The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. Unlike some of the posts I’ve read in other places, I found the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi to be clean, inviting and downright classic! The staff was very friendly and consistently making sure I was comfortable. I will definitely stay there when I come back! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Hanoi. The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms (there was even a tv by the shower), and high quality service. Also, they are one of few hotels that allow people under 21 to book a reservation. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The food was good.
