London is a must!
Okay so who hasn’t been to London? For many people it’s at the top of their travel list but there’s always so much more to see and do! I travel to London pretty often and even lived there for awhile. London really is a place where ancient history meets the modern world. Catch a show on the West End, visit Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, and of course Big Ben and the houses of Parliament but also take time to visit other amazing areas such as Greenwich and the East End, and don’t forget to visit at least one of London’s amazing markets. I can’t wait to visit London again soon.

A day in Greenwich: check in at the Meridian and explore the charm of the town at leisure
#2024TravelReview
If you come to London and want to experience the perfect combination of history, nature and culture in one day, then #Greenwich is definitely your ideal choice! The familiar #Greenwich Observatory from the textbook is right in front of me. The excitement is really indescribable.
Early that morning, we took the DLR from London to Greenwich. Stroll along the paths in the park to the Royal Observatory. Standing on the world-famous #PrimeMeridian, with your feet spanning the Eastern and Western Hemispheres, this wonderful experience is definitely worth taking photos and checking in! The exhibitions in the observatory are full of knowledge, from ancient astronomical instruments to precise clocks used for navigation, which make people marvel at the wisdom of the ancients. It is definitely worth a visit!
After leaving the observatory, we strolled along the characteristic little streets and felt the leisurely atmosphere here. For lunch, we were tired of the refined starches in Europe, so we randomly picked an Asian restaurant on the map that served pho to satisfy our long-lost Asian stomachs. This bowl of hot noodle soup is unforgettable.
Greenwich is a town full of surprises, laid-back and charming. Whether you're fascinated by history, love being close to nature, or just looking for a place to relax, this place is well worth your time exploring. Add it to your London itinerary now!

best dessert
@hautedolcio2 at London’s O2 for one of London’s best dessert experiences (ad) 🍨 🍰🍮🍩
The chocolate fountain was my favourite part - the sweet chocolate on the fresh strawberries was sensational and I would go back especially for that.
We also loved the chocolate fondue and the waffles topped with ice cream. There is something so special about the chocolate they use. It’s so gooey and moreish without being sickly.
They also do savoury food, including a full English breakfast, burgers, chips, jalapeno cheesy bites and houmous with bread.
It’s so family friendly and we loved how helpful all the staff were.

IFS Cloud Royal Docks (Emirates Cable Car) London
We went to cable car ride on a Saturday evening. Once you get into the ride and the ride will last around 10min and the view is amazing. You can see the aerial view of Thames and other surrounded building and the view is just awesome. You should visit atleast once and enjoy the ride while taking plenty of mesmerising photos. The ticket cost for the ride is around 10 pounds for a round trip and 6 pounds for a 1 way journey. Overall I would say the price is really good for the experience and views. After the ride there is a variety of delicious restaurants and shops in the 02 mall such as Nandos, Jimmy's buffet and there is also a cinema if you want to make the most out of your day. I would highly recommend this place as there are a lot of things to keep you going throughout the day.#london #views #greenwich #emirates #photography #awesomepic
Greenwich Park in London - favourite spot
#meetlondon #london #visitlondon #greenwich #park
Greenwich Park is our favourite park in London. We love cycling in the park or just exploring the area and enjoying the views.
It's very scenic if you go to Greenwich by boat on the river Thames. The cheapest way to do this is on the Thames Clipper. The park is beautiful and very well maintained and the views towards London are simply superb.
Let us know if you have been there and what your enjoyed the most.

Pizza dough is soft and delicious “greenwich”
Greenwich, the place that elevates Filipino fast food!
I visited here after 4 years without much thought, but the pizza bread is soft and delicious.
Since it was a holiday here, there weren't many visitors, so I was able to enjoy a comfortable and warm meal for the first time in a while💕

Best brews at Meantime craft brewery
Meantime brewery brews craft beers and they are located in #greenwich in #london
It’s easily accessible via trains and buses, and they run very informative brewery tours with friendly staff educating you with details of the entire brewing process. You also get to taste the different types of beers that they brew and their unique flavors. They even showed us to the yards and explained how the beers are shipped out. The place is very clean and well maintained and looks very new in fact.
The brewery was founded in 1999.
At the brewery, there is also a nice pub where you can continue to drink your ice cold beers till late.
Pay them a visit if you are there on #holiday

UNESCO heritage site Greenwich London
#greenwich #london makes a good side trip from the city of London.
It is one of the most historic site of London where the scenic river Thames flows though, therefore making it a maritime city. It is also where the Greenwich meridian and Greenwich Mean Time is named after.
There are many museums and historic sites to visit, and is accessible via their well-connected train system, located in the Southeast of London. There used to be a Royal palace there and a navy college is also located there.
History aside there are also other attractions like new and coming breweries and bars to check out.

Peering at the Painted Hall
If you’re visiting London this year and especially if you’re planning to visit the London Borough of Greenwich make sure you take the time to visit the Painted Hall in the old Royal Navy naval College. It is truly spectacular. Can you believe that up until 1997? This was still used as a dining room for trainee officers of the British Royal Navy?

#Greenwich #Sunset #London Adore London and very recommend to visit Greenwich Park, marker, Marine museum
The Prime meridian
The prime meridian runs through Greenwich, London because it was established as the international standard for zero degrees longitude at the International Meridian Conference in 1884. The conference chose Greenwich as the location for the prime meridian because the Royal Observatory in Greenwich had already been established as the reference point for timekeeping and navigation. This decision helped standardize timekeeping and navigation around the world.
It is important that we share standards for things like this. Among other things, lines of longitude are used to establish time zones, and it’s important we coordinate our watches across the globe for the purposes of trade and international travel.#Primemeridian #Greenwich
