If you could only use one word to describe Vietnam, what would it be?

Family Trip: Seava Ho Tram
For a short family vacation near Ho Chi Minh City, destinations like Ho Coc and Ho Tram are ideal. There, you can enjoy activities such as swimming in the sea, soaking in hot mineral springs, boiling eggs, visiting sheep fields, or trying your hand at being a fisherman for a day.
We found true relaxation at Binh Chau Hot Springs, where therapies helped us rejuvenate both physically and mentally after long workdays. It’s also family-friendly, with plenty of activities to keep children entertained. We stayed at Seava Ho Tram, a beautiful resort surrounded by nature, featuring wood, bamboo, and stone designs under a lush forest canopy, all facing the sea. Just a two-hour drive from Saigon, Ho Tram offers fresh seafood, relaxation, and fun for the whole family.

More than just a beach, Bai Xep invites you to relax, breathe in the fresh sea air, and let yourself connect with the vast beauty of nature.

Stunning Sunset at Ong Lang Beach, Phu Quoc 🇻🇳
#bestsunset
Watching the sunset at Ong Lang Beach in Phu Quoc Island was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my trip.
There are a few cozy beachside spots where you can grab a drink or snack while watching the sunset.
Once the sun sets, the stars start to come out, and the beach becomes even more peaceful.
‼️Don’t forget your bug spray, as the evening sets in, mosquitos might come out, so bringing bug spray will help keep you comfortable.

A Chill Island: Phu Quoc
I visited Phu Quoc during the rainy season, and despite the weather, my experience was nothing short of delightful. After landing at Phu Quoc airport at dawn, I quickly checked into a cozy hotel in Duong Dong. The town offers a variety of comfortable accommodations at reasonable prices, perfect for any traveler.
Phu Quoc, known for its stunning beaches and lush green mountains, is a breath of fresh air. I started my day with a peaceful breakfast by the sea, enjoying the views of the clear blue water—a truly relaxing start to the day.
We had plans to explore Ham Ninh, An Thoi, and some of Phu Quoc's most beautiful beaches, while also indulging in the island's specialties like bun quay, crab rice, and fresh seafood.
As the day wound down, we found ourselves at a beach bar, sipping cocktails and watching the sunset to the rhythm of loud, lively music. To top it off, strolling through the night market, sampling street food, catching live performances, and shopping for souvenirs added a memorable touch to the evening.
Around Hue Citadel
Exploring Hue Citadel offers a quiet and calming experience beyond just visiting the Imperial City.
You can enjoy taking photos near the Vietnamese flagpole or find a cozy café to relax and watch life pass by. Hue is known for its royal tea—a delicious and nutritious drink made from local herbs. Sitting at a café in front of Ngan Gate, we sipped tea, chatted, and enjoyed the beautiful old architecture around us. The golden sunlight and gentle breeze made it even more enjoyable. The peaceful atmosphere and historical surroundings helped us connect with the rich history of Hue, creating a memorable experience in this tranquil city.
Hoi An Ancient Town
Hoi An, nestled along the peaceful Thu Bon River, is a charming gem of Vietnam’s tourism. Located about 30 km south of Da Nang, this ancient town is a blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese influences, reflected in its unique architecture and rich culture.
Walking through Hoi An feels like stepping back in time. The moss-covered houses, narrow streets, and glowing lanterns create a peaceful, nostalgic atmosphere. Popular spots for photos include the Japanese Covered Bridge, Mot Restaurant, and old houses adorned with vibrant bougainvillea vines. Each time I visit, I love wandering through the small streets, exploring souvenir shops, and appreciating the warmth of the local people.
Food is also a highlight. Hoi An is famous for its local specialties like Quang noodles, Cao Lau, Phuong bread, and Hoi An chicken rice. For those seeking a quiet retreat, there are beautiful villas and hotels near the rice fields or by the scenic An Bang and Cua Dai beaches, which also offer luxurious coastal resorts.
Hoi An’s timeless beauty and laid-back vibe make it a must-visit destination in Vietnam.
Ba Na Hills in Bloom 💐

Ba Na Hills, near Da Nang, is not just famous for its stunning views and the iconic Golden Bridge, but also for its beautiful flower gardens. In spring, the hills come alive with vibrant blossoms, adding extra charm to this mountain retreat. The Le Jardin D’Amour gardens are especially popular, showcasing a variety of colorful flowers, making it a perfect photo spot!

A hidden gem near Phu Quoc 🩵
#islandtour
A day tour to May Rut Trong Island from Phu Quoc, Vietnam, offers a serene escape to a beautiful and less-crowded island in the An Thoi Archipelago. May Rut Trong is known for its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant coral reefs, making it a popular destination for snorkeling, swimming, and relaxation.
We took a day tour with John’s Tours, and it was great 😊
Visiting Tips:
▪️Bring Essentials: Pack sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a towel as you’ll be spending a lot of time in the sun. Also, bring a waterproof bag for your belongings if you plan to go snorkeling or swimming.
▪️Snorkeling Gear: Most tours don’t provide snorkeling equipment, so you need to bring your own.
▪️Cash for Extras: Although lunch is usually included, it’s a good idea to bring some cash in case you want to purchase drinks, snacks, or souvenirs on the island.
▪️Respect the Environment: Help preserve the island’s beauty by not littering and avoiding any contact with the coral reefs, which are fragile ecosystems.

Sailing Club Nha Trang
Sailing Club Nha Trang is nestled right on the pristine beach of Nha Trang, making it my favorite escape for enjoying the sunshine, cool breeze, and salty sea air. The stunning views and easy access to the clear waters make it an ideal spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the coastline.
Whether it's morning or evening, this place offers something special. I love starting my day here with a delicious local breakfast—Pho, Hu Tieu, Bun Bo, or Banh Mi—paired with fresh coffee and pastries. There's something magical about reading a book while sipping a beer or cocktail and listening to the gentle waves.
In the evening, Sailing Club transforms into a lively hotspot. The energy is palpable as you step onto the sand, choose a table, and enjoy captivating live performances. Sharing beers and laughter with friends while watching talented dancers and singers adds a joyful buzz to the night.
For a more tranquil experience, find a quiet spot on the beach where few tourists go. Walking barefoot along the shore, feeling the cool sea water on your feet, and being pleasantly tipsy from your drinks creates a uniquely relaxing moment. Sailing Club Nha Trang, with its luxurious ambiance and excellent service, is truly a gem where you can savor every moment.
Aroma Beach Mui Ne Resort
If you're looking for a resort in the heart of Mui Ne with beautiful, clean rooms, lush green landscapes, a white sand beach, delicious food, and excellent service at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Aroma Beach Resort.
I've stayed here three times, and each visit has been a truly wonderful experience. The resort is always beautifully maintained, and it feels like coming back to a familiar yet refreshed place each time. It’s a peaceful escape from the crowded streets and busy restaurants, where you can really immerse yourself in the golden sand and crystal-clear water. What I love most is the serene atmosphere and the rustic Vietnamese countryside-inspired design with thatched roofs and coconut bridges—it instantly makes me feel at home.
Breakfast by the beach, with the sound of the waves, is one of my favorite moments, offering a sense of peace that stays with me throughout the day. Whether it's relaxing at the spa, taking a stroll through the lush gardens, or enjoying a BBQ with family, there's always something special to do here. Every visit leaves me with beautiful memories and a feeling of deep contentment.
Ghenh Da Dia - A Stunning Check-in Spot
Ghenh Da Dia in Phu Yen is one of the world’s five unique rocky cliffs shaped by volcanic lava eruptions. From afar, it resembles a giant honeycomb, standing out against the clear blue sea. The combination of the waves, mist, and sunlight makes this place mesmerizingly beautiful—no words or photos can capture its full majesty.
We started from Tuy Hoa city, heading north via National Highway 1 or along Le Duan Street, passing Long Thuy and An Hai Bridge before following Google Maps to reach Ghenh Da Dia. The 35 km journey offers stunning coastal views, with lush green fields and winding village roads alongside the sea.
Upon arrival, you can buy tickets and take an electric car to the beach. It’s quite sunny, so bring a hat and water. The views will leave you in awe, and the cool blue sea is the perfect backdrop for amazing photos.
A Peaceful Day in Van Gia
Looking for a peaceful escape from the bustling city life, we chose Van Gia, Khanh Hoa – a charming fishing village offering a simple, tranquil coastal experience. Our journey started with a bus ride from Tuy Hoa to Van Gia’s bus station, followed by a quick motorbike ride to our hotel, conveniently located across from the seaside park. Just steps away were the pier and a large park, perfect for watching boats come and go in the bay.
Early in the morning, the pier bustles with fishing boats returning from the sea. It’s also the departure point for canoes and boats heading to Diep Son Island, famous for its unique sand path in the middle of the sea. Instead of a day trip from Nha Trang, we opted to stay overnight, spending our mornings walking the quiet streets, enjoying bánh căn (Vietnamese pancakes), and sipping coffee at a local corner café. The evenings were perfect for leisurely strolls through the park and savoring fresh seafood at the seaside.
Van Gia may not be lively, but its clear blue sea, calm skies, and the slow pace of life make it the ideal destination for those seeking tranquility and an authentic coastal experience.
A Fairy Garden: Natureside Cafe Da Lat
Natureside Cafe in Da Lat offers a unique, vast, and airy atmosphere that feels like stepping into a fairy garden. The romantic scenery here captivates the heart, allowing your soul to drift freely. An old wooden house, a cozy balcony overlooking the mountainside, cherry blossom trees in brilliant pink, and hydrangeas and roses swaying in the breeze create an enchanting setting. The gentle sound of water flowing from a nearby stream only adds to the tranquility.
We found a corner table with a panoramic view of the entire valley below, sipping hot coffee and enjoying a relaxed conversation. There are countless picturesque spots here for capturing memorable family photos. The coffee, especially the Arabica, is delicious, though it’s a shame they don’t sell beans to take home.
If you visit in the spring, you’ll have the chance to pose with the stunning cherry blossom garden in full bloom. Among the many cafes in Da Lat, Natureside stands out as the most charming, offering a beautiful space, delicious food and drinks, and a convenient location close to the city center.
Must-Try Activities: A day at Puppy Farm
When visiting Da Lat with children, there are a few must-try activities that will delight the whole family:
- Explore a farm with a variety of animals
- Pick strawberries and other fresh produce
- Take vibrant photos in colorful flower fields
All of these experiences await at Puppy Farm, a charming spot just 9 km from the city center. Not only is it home to adorable puppies, but also to rabbits, dwarf horses, camels, and other lovely animals. The farm also features high-tech agricultural areas where you can find strawberries, tomatoes, lettuce, and more.
Puppy Farm is open daily from 8am to 5:30pm, with tickets starting at 100,000 VND. Kids will love feeding camels, sheep, and goats, and playing with the playful puppies. The whole family can snap memorable photos in the flower garden, relax with a coffee overlooking the hillside, and enjoy the fresh air of the surrounding pine forest.
In addition, children can pick strawberries and pumpkins in the agricultural garden. The farm also features a hydroponic vegetable area and a cactus garden, where you can buy plants to take home or learn how to grow them yourself. Puppy Farm is the perfect place for a fun-filled, educational day out in Da Lat.
Lang Biang Mountain Hike
My first hike after one month of not smoking. This wasn't the hardest hike, but iIcoukd feel how much healthier my lungs are after only a month!
The resort itself is a little annoying with bad signage and overpriced taxis, but you can still have an enjoyable hike here. Recommend getting there early if you want to reach the real peak.

Timeless Beauty of Hue, Vietnam
If you're going through tough days and need to recharge, I highly recommend visiting Hue, a serene and ancient city by the poetic Huong River. Hue is the perfect place to find peace and restore your energy. The city is rich in cultural and historical heritage, surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes like Ngu Binh Mountain, Lang Co Bay, and Thuan An Beach.
We arrived in Hue on a rainy day, where the light drizzle created a uniquely romantic atmosphere. Starting your day with a steaming bowl of Bun Bo Hue at a local eatery is a must. Following this, exploring the Imperial City, royal tombs, and Thien Mu Pagoda will offer you an unforgettable experience. As you pause in front of the pagoda, don't miss the chance to enjoy sweet ginger syrup tofu sold by local vendors, while gazing at the tranquil Huong River.
Hue during the rainy season has its own charm, inviting you to wrap up in a warm coat and explore. I highly recommend trying hot dishes to keep warm, savoring a cup of coffee near the Imperial City, or strolling through the pedestrian streets. End your day with a glass of Huda beer, a local specialty, in the walking street. Hue is a place that will help you rediscover balance and serenity in life.
The Eastern Charm of aNhill Boutique Hue
Huế always leaves me with a lingering sense of nostalgia. If I were to recommend a peaceful, historic, and friendly destination, it would be Huế, Vietnam. This city beautifully preserves its traditions and harmonizes with nature, offering mountains, beaches, historical sites, and unique craft villages.
Staying at Anhill Boutique Hue, slightly away from the city center, allowed us to enjoy a serene day surrounded by lush pine trees and fresh air. The hotel welcomed us with charming touches, from personalized door signs to a small in-room birthday celebration. Despite the rain, we captured stunning photos around the resort’s pool, koi pond, bar, and restaurant, all exuding a timeless Eastern charm.
