#travelinginchina 🇨🇳Shufflin’ in Shenzhen🇨🇳 🚶🏻♀️🚶We stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel and Suites Landmark Shenzhen it took just around 10-12 minutes to walk from the Lo Wu Station. 👍We were given a Junior Suite room with a huge bathroom overlooking the Dong Men Lao street. Room is equipped with a King Sized bed, closet, TV, chair and desk, a bathroom with a turbo tub and toiletries from Borghese. ➕In addition, our stay also includes Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and Happy Hour daily. All a definite plus to our stay here😊 🏨The hotel is pretty old school-designed in a grand way with lamented wooden furnishings, spacious foyer and well decorated surroundings. The staff at the reception was also very professional, helpful and friendly. ✅We chose to stay here due to its proximity to nearby sights such as the Dong Men Lao Shopping Street, Food streets and shopping malls. We recently had a lovely staycation at the Fullerton Hotel Ocean Park during the Lunar New Year holidays. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with the festive spirit and decorations from their ground floor receiving area to their main lobby. After our enchanting visit to the Louvre, we strolled along the Seine, the lifeline of Paris stretching over 777 kilometers, this landmark has witnessed the rise and fall of empires. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is truly amazing! I bought a 4-Day ticket with entrance at the East gate (Wulingyuan) for ¥222 and I still didn’t visit all of the areas. When looking for a hotel, choose one that offers a park map otherwise you’ll have to buy one at the park entrance. I stayed at Manyuan Resort Hotel, decent enough re cleanliness but the breakfast was breakfasting! It was delicious and they provide fruits daily, even if you still have some left over from the day before. So back to the park, after you go through security you can board the bus which stops at different destinations hence the importance of the map to know exactly where to go. The only way to get to the top of the mountain after getting off the bus is either the Bailong Elevator for ¥65 one-way or the Tianzishan Cableway for ¥72 one-way; both are separate charges from the park ticket. OR… you can hike, two-way FREE! So pick your struggle wisely 😅 Luckily the in park transportation is free. This is a great attraction in Changsha. It’s located on an island and you can take the metro to get there, the station exit is literally in the park. Once you get there you can begin walking or buy a ticket for the in park transportation, which I highly recommend especially in that heat 🥵 but of course you will still do some walking because they stop a little distance from the statue. Summer is coming and Changsha has a lot of exciting places you can visit so here are a few recommendations that I visited on my trip. All of these are free except for Orange Island which was like 20rmb or so: 1. Meixi Lake Chinese Knot Bridge (there is no other attraction close by so it’s kinda out of the way but worth it for great photos) 2. Huangxing Square 3. Wuyi Square 4. Taiping Street (shopping for souvenirs - make sure to price shop first because I bought some keychains for 3 times the price another shop had and they were the exact same thing😢) 5. Orange Island (foreigners need to first go to the visitors center to get a slip of paper which you can then use to get a ticket for the in park transport.
