Fancy a dip? If you like sun, beach, swimming, bays for days, then Thailand Phi Phi islands is a MUST! I took a solo trip boat tour for 1800 Thai baht for the day to go around the Phi Phi islands and visit Maya Bay. The tour includes snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, lunch and time to wonder round the islands we stopped at. The men taking the tour on the speed boat were very friendly, played some great music and comforted the young children during points of rough seas. It is about an hours boat trip so sea sick tablets are recommended for the queasy traveler. I am not an experienced diver, however, this company made an exception as I have been diving a few times before and had done the discovery scuba-diving course in MoalBoal the day before. My friend and I booked package B at ‘Deep zone dive center’ in Oslob, which includes one whale dive, and two boat dives. The day began at 6:15am where we were picked up at our hotel around the corner in Oslob, then we headed out diving at around 7:45 am for the whale sharks. You get a briefing before you go about the distance you have to keep away from the whale sharks as they are protected and you will be fined if you touch them. The guide, Robert, was very patient and stayed with us the whole time. We had an hour dive at the whale sharks, before having a short break back at the dive centre, and then we went for our two dives on their new boat. The first boat dive we saw some black tip sharks and on the second boat dive we saw lots of schools of fish, some barracuda and tuna. At no point did I feel unsafe and, as you can see from the footage, Robert and his team took some amazing photos as well as videos. The whole day cost 6500 pesos each and lasted around eight hours, a sandwich and water was provided on the boat. Zhangjiajie National Forest park is a MUST VISIT place in China. Eastern Garan Seaview is a resort in just a few minute walk from the circumferential road in San Juan Siquijor. Quite accessible to most popular hot spots in Siquijor. The resort is small but their rooms are spacious enough. It may not have the best facilities and amenities but the location is such a plus or quite the only thing nice in this place. You can still find it relaxing because of the stunning sunset view and seaview on the poolside. It's like a mini cliff there. One of my best day trips from Taipei was to Wangyou Valley. I took a bus to Keelung City and suppose to have a seafood lunch in the Bisha Harbour Seafood market. Once I arrive at the market, I was not so hungry yet and saw on the map nearby have the park. In less than 10 minutes drive I arrived at such much nature place. It's only 5 minutes by ferry ⛴️ from Kaohsiung and you can arrive at this beautiful island - Cijin Island. Ferry's schedule is very frequent. Probably every 5-10 minutes. Once you strive to the island you can rent a bike 🚴 or just walk. Main Street of the island is seafood street. The price of seafood is responsible. After seafood street, you will arrive at the beach. One of the must-do things in Hualien is to join a boat trip to see the dolphins🐬. I got tickets from a travel agent in Hualien, it's much cheaper than you buy from Apps or buy onsite. Every day have morning and afternoon trips. Each trip takes you around 4 hours (including 30 minutes of safety instruction). The first time I came here, the location was a bit into the Lebak Bulus highway, I left from the front, this is not a cafe because it looks like an ordinary house. When I got to the waiting list, I was immediately surprised to see the paintings on the walls plus a lot of young people taking ootd photos there. After the waiting list, I chose a place inside that had AC, it turned out to be quite deep here and there were lots of good photo spots, aka very instagrammable. I tried the food menu here and it was very unique A place to eat that is quite a recommendation, simple but quite exclusive. The menu is also quite diverse, the prices are quite affordable. Catarman of Cordova Municipality offers white sand bar during low tide, and paddling activities over the clear water during high tide. We frolicked and paddled for two hours, exploring pathways inside the mini-mangrove sanctuary. It is a good thing that the locals initiated mangrove planting and preservation. It is one way to nest fishes and filter water. Came to Beijing from Shanghai on the recommendation of my friend, who later worked here, called RT. (but he is now back indo) As expected, really great dining experience. The food was really delicious. The service was very good and precise. Thanks for the special window seat. My favorite food is clams. For future improvement, they need to ensure seafood like salmon and squid with tomato sauce are fresher. Trio Beach (三星灣) is located at Pak Sha Wan Peninsula, Sai Kung, probably one of the cleanest beach I’ve ever been to. It’s easily access but hidden from plain sight just 10-15 mins boat ride from Hebe Haven Pier. We went on a Sunday morning from 8.30am to 12.30pm. If you’ve been following my post, you should know our activity time is either early in the morning or midday, to avoid the crowd. Anyway, Trio Beach is a perfect beach to spent a day, with its soft sand, clean water (fishes right at the shores), easy to reach, stalls for refreshments, equipments and tools for rent or sale. Kids had much fun swimming with their life jackets I bought online, checking out fishes with the easybreath snorkel mask we got from Decathlon and definitely enjoyed jumping in to the water from the floating platform!
