#chinatrip The Huanglongjiuzhai station, which opened on September 1, is the newest station providing direct access to Jiuzhaigou, along with Songpan station. Previously, travelers had to take the high-speed train to Zhenjiangguan and then drive 4-5 hours to reach Jiuzhaigou. With this new station, travel time is reduced by about 2 hours, allowing for more time to explore Huanglong National Park. If tickets to Huanglongjiuzhai are sold out, you can opt to stop at Songpan and take a bus or Didi to either Huanglong National Park or Jiuzhaigou, and of course the major highlight of the journey from Huanglongjiuzhai to Jiuzhaigou is the stunning scenery along the way. super lucky to get good weather on our day of visit. on the mountains and highlands, you’re never sure of what weather you’re gonna get, the day before it was all rainy. anyway the whole scenic area of JZG is simply breath taking, the good weather was a bonus for great pictures and walk. the lake showcase different shades of blue and green, very pristine. prob will look better in a couple of months when the water level rises. great to see the mgmt taking good care of the place. lotsa good and shopping inside too concentrated at nuorilang. #jiuzhaigou #九寨沟

Getting There - we took a Van from Chengdu to huanglong first about 5 hours drive, we stayed there then next day we went to Jiuzhaigou 2 hour drive. Can fly from Chengdu. Attractions - beautiful sceneries Hotels - I recommend stayed at the base of Jiuzhaigou the holiday inn was clean and convenient. Food & Restaurants - there are a few restaurants around the area, the beef hot pot was amazing. Shopping - not much shopping to do but we got some Yak milk tea powder and Jersey.

#timetotravel Wow.. After a long day of sight seeing, this is something nice to cap our night. It was such an awesome cultural show which is vibrant, colorful and full of dancing and singing. I was really entertained despite being knackered from walking all day. It woke me up and gave me energy. I super loved the different performances and their cultural wears were really gorgeous. This is a must see when you go to Jiuzhaigou, a little something to know more about their local culture. The length of the show isn't too long as well so no need to worry of sitting down for too long in the cold. Yes, there ia no heating inside if you are going in winter so better wrap up still. Lakes EVERY shade of blue and turquoise!!

Jiuzhaigou Valley scenic area, 🚩north Sichuan province in the beautiful Aba mountains ⛰ There is clear water and there is Jiuzhaigou pristine turquoise water 🏞. Absolutely beautiful scenery like I have seen nowhere else, the pictures don't do it justice. 🚌 At the beginning of your trip take the bus to the last stop and hike your way back to the entrance total walking distance appx 26km, but If you get tired, every 2km or so there is a bus stop where you can get a bus to the next POI. ​🏃try to walk on the paths on the mountain rather than road side for better sun protection ☀️ 😎sunglasses and hat are a must. The beauty of Jiuzhaigou

Jiuzhaigou is amazing! You see landscapes likes this on TV but to actually witness it, was a dream come true! We started our journey with a bus ride to the very top and walked all the way back down visiting all of the spots. This scenic area takes an entire day, with waterfalls and lakes to see. But plan on bringing your own food/ drinks. The park does not have any food available, but there are vending machines filled with drinks. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. This hotel is approximately 5-10 minutes drive to the scenic spot. The service was really good, but if you have allergies like I do, don’t stay here. Since English isn't commonly spoken in the region, having the guide made a big difference. The night before exploring the national park, he gave us a detailed briefing about the sheer size of the national park and how to go about. He highlighted the must see attractions and even told us which side of the bus to sit on for the best views. We didnt pay the local guide separately, he was included as part of the hostel package we booked. Must visit once in a life time♥️ useful tips about Jiuzhaigou It's a beautiful place from start to end! No trouble getting around for international tourist. I bought the train tickets as well as the entrance tickets through this site and they just scan my passport and there is no question at all. It's a must-do-it once in a lifetime place. The best time is to come end mid-end Oct. I'm here in end May and there's no need to bring a coat. It's sunny towards the mid-end day. Toilets are clean and there are small booths selling refreshments along the way. Suggest to stay two nights instead of trying to rush for the train. It takes 2-3 hours to get to the train station and will cut short your visit. #Jiuzhaigou #waterfalls #justdoit

Spectacular. I'm told it's worth seeing in every season for different reasons, but we went in summer and it blew us away. Worth going all the way up to the end of the bus route to see the forest trail, and then we walked most of the way back down, stopping at all the different lakes and pools. You can hop on and off the tour bus, and we skipped a couple of the longer walks, but it still took us a whole day. I stay an rezen retreat very near the entrance so easily to walking. #jiuzhaigou

Jiuzhaigou natural park is quite large. Total the roads may reach almost 100 km. Tickets for 1 is 160 rmb, for 2 is 240 RMB. You can purchase it online trip.com or directly at counter. The map of attraction guides very detailed and clearly,so you don’t need to book any tour guide at the gate. A tip for it is you better take shuttle to the highest point then move down to enjoy all the attractions. By the way, u had better check the weather before coming.
