We had a great walk through the gardens and also through the orchid section. There is good bird life here. It is very warm during the middle of the day, and most people looked like they were suffering a bit. So bring a hat, and some suncream. Ta Prohm is the modern name of a temple near the city of Siem Reap, Cambodia, approximately one kilometre east of Angkor Thom and on the southern edge of the East Baray. It was built in the Bayon style largely in the late 12th century and early 13th century. The temple was built without mortar and, after it was abandoned, trees took root in the loosened stones. The trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of the most popular temples with visitors to the area. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1992. Chakri Maha Prasat is a blend of Thai traditional architecture and a combination of 19th-century European styles. Maha Prasat are composed of nine major and minor halls, structured in a similar scheme to the Maha Monthien Halls from north to south, however the two building groups contrasts greatly in styles. Formerly the site hosted eleven different residential halls and pavilions; in 2012 only three are left, although they have been completely reconstructed: The Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall, the Moon Satharn Borom Ard Hall and the Sommuthi Thevaraj Uppabat Hall. Behind these structures lie the grand Borom Ratchasathit Mahoran Hall, which has been recently rebuilt. A cafe on top of the hills with magnificent view of Songkhla that you shouldn’t miss !! I reach there about 10am. This place is located at south thailand , Songkhla. Approximately took about 40mins or 28km drives from Hatyai district. This cafe served some good beverages , desserts , cakes and local Thai food with reasonable price. Nice place to chill with families and friends and do ensure follow the signboard and drive carefully because the road to the hill is quite steep and there’s only one way. This pizzeria and cafe is located right after the Old Town Bridge. There are indoor and outdoor seats as well as a bar and cafe by day and night. This Italian restaurant serve very authentic Italian dishes including the must order Salami pizza and Porchini Tagliatelle. Price is average about Euro 18-22 for one main and one alcohol drink. The alcohol drink is a bit on the expensive side but still nice. Must try their tiramisu dessert as well. You have to go early to visit this huge palace to avoid the crowds. It is about a good 10 min walk from the nearest train station. While walking towards the palace, you will come across a huge lake with lots of swans and ducks. The palace is huge and you may spent a good 2 hours touring the whole place. One of the best beer garden restaurants in Munich is hirschgarten. It is called Koniglicher Hirschgarten. They are opened for lunch and dinner and can be quite packed. Very good selection of local dishes and beers as well. The highlight is definitely the pork knuckle and dunkel dark beer. They are absolutely fantastic and you may choose to sit indoor or outdoor by the park. Average price per person is around euro 20-25 depending why you ordered. When at Marienplatz, you will not miss this new tall hall also known as Rathaus Clocktower. Everyday at 11am, 12pm and 5pm, the clock will perform and re-enacts the history of Munich and catches the attention of everyone. The old town hall is just located next to the new town hall. You may also go up the tower on the viewing platform for a fee and also tour the hall. When visiting Munich, be sure to visit St Peter’s Church or also known as Alter Peter, Munich. Go up to the top of the tower for a magnificent view of the city from 15th floor. The entrance fee ticket counter is located behind the church and expect a queue as there is only one entrance and exit way. The ticket cost euro 5 and you will go up a tight stairways, expect to climb 15 floors and they are also people coming down the same stair case and it is really skimpy. Denver Colorado is located at already above 10,000feet above sea level. Air can be really thin up here, so be slow and steady on the things you want to do. The view everywhere is magnificent and breathtaking, and of course really chilly as well. Mount Evans is one of the popular mountains to catch the beautiful sunset of colorado. Mount Evans is always happens to be one of the highest paved road in North America and the view with alpine lakes, massive granite walls and strands of twisted, ancient bristlecone pine takes your breath totally. If you are lucky you will also be able to spot mountain goats and bighorn sheep in the mountains. Driving on Mt evans, has to be extra cautious as the road do not have any barricade and it will be a long drop down below if not careful. Most of the scenic points here are wheel chair friendly but there are a few trials for the adventurous. Location : Apollo Bay Beech Forest It's around 200kms/2.5 hours from Melbourne CBD, 40kms/1 hour Apollo Bay. 2 Great hikes for any hike lovers. Hopetoun Falls: approx 200 steps down to the Falls which also include a viewing platform for those who decides not to talk down. Beauchamp Falls: 1.6-2km return walk with a well paved track. Strenuous walk due to a constant uphill and steps on the way back. Both hikes are only a 10/15mins drive away but do take note that Beauchamp Falls will require you to drive onto a dirt road for approx 3km to reach the carpark. Mackenzie Falls located in Grampians Victoria Australia A short hike(1.2km return) for both the lookout from above and a hike(1km return) towards the base of the fall with a total of 200m elevation. D The hike to the base of the fall requires people to be physically fit as this isn't wheelchair friendly. steps down towards the base can be quite step and climbing up from the falls require some good cardio.
