It is located in a hill which you'll need to climb and it takes roughly an hour by foot. 📍Address: Palaiokastritsa 490 83, Greece During summer time the weather is very hot 🥵🥵 therefore make sure to bring a lot of water with yourself. Before you enter the monastery they provide you clothing for the women to cover their shoulders and legs, as due to religious reasons otherwise is not allowed to enter. Pietro, 37129 Verona VR, Italy My partner and I went for an afternoon walk in Verona to Parco Antonio Avena, which is by the way the perfect place to watch the sunset. #myhiddengems If you go during the autumn months you will get to enjoy a colourful view from the top. The small hike, more like climbing stairs, will take you roughly half an hour if not even less. #2024mapped My partner and I stayed at B&B Hotel Geneva Airport for two nights in November 2024 and it was lovely. #myhiddengems The hotel is relatively close to the airport and a free shuttle is provided. It makes it easier and more convenient if you have a very early or late flight, just like how we did. At the hotel we had breakfast for only 5.50 per person and we got coffee and two pastries each. It was perfect as we usually don't have large amounts of food in the morning. 📍Address: Grove Rd., London E3 5TB Have you wondered what you could do in London and have spare time? You can visit Victoria Park which is located very central and rent a boat. While paddling on the boat you get enjoy the lovely views and snap quick photos. You can get to see from up close ducks, swans 🦢 and other birdies. The ticket price to rent a boat is only around £12.00 for an hour's which is definitely worth the price. TIP: Or you can use this as a date destination +_+

#traveldiaries There is so much to do in Bedford, however of course one day is more than enough! While it was still sunny ☀️ and nice we went to the Priory Country Park, which is half an hour away on floor from town centre. There were plenty of walking groups around, some joggers, some families with their little ones. The vibe was so homey and friendly. We had a booking at The Swan Hotel for afternoon tea. We had our booking in Anna's Tearoom.... Magnificent! #myhiddengems I recommend to anyone to book in advance and have this experience. The food is yummy 😋🤤, the restaurant area is so well decorated. It is not something you would expect to see, when you look at the hotel from outside. After the tee, snacks and few cocktails, we walking around the river. #2024mapped One of the best experiences we did whilst visiting Corfu, Paleokastritsa was to sign up for a boat ride to watch the sunset. #myhiddengems The journey started from getting on board on the boat from Alipa Beach. First they took us on a tour to visit the nearby caves and the beautiful rock formations. Closer to the sunset time, we were each given a glass of prosecco and enjoyed the sunset. When it was time for the sunset, all the chitter chatter from everyone died down and everyone was just there, watching and enjoyitthe sunset. #2024mapped This year when we visited Edinburgh early September, we decided to try go hiking and visit Arthur's seat. #myhiddengems As we are hike lovers 😍, we just couldn't resist! 😂 As we were making our way up, we could see the scenery before us, with all the orange/yellow trees in the distance. Breathtaking views! At some point it started to drizzle, not bad, very manageable. But in an instant it started to hail - with nowhere to hide , we had to beat with it! The dark clouds and heavy hail didn't seem to have the intention of stopping any time soon, however half an hour later or so, as suddenly as the hail came, it just disappeared. The sun shone brightly and proudly on the sky, as nothing had happened. #2024mapped I highly recommend to go to Canterbury during autumn 🍁. The city is only two hours and half away by train from London St Pancreas. You can either do a day trip, or stay overnight (like we did, so we don't rush). #myhiddengems Canterbury! Such a beautiful city, with a stunning cathedral, the town is full of life. As you walk down the river and enjoy the beautiful sceneries, watch the trees' leaves change their colours, observe the swans, ducks and geese - truly magical and peaceful. It is a bit difficult to find, so I have popped down the address. I had ordered the lamb ribs which were very dry, so i wouldn't recommend you going for that. My partner had ordered the gyro, where you can never go wrong and it was delicious. #myhiddengems As any other place in Corfu, there was a stray kitten which we fed! Also, I had a juice which came in a very cute closed jar with a straw, and my half had wine. The view is truly stunning and peaceful. #2024mapped We have not visited many Greek islands, however after visiting Corfu, in Paleokastritsa resort, we fell in love with it! The island is huge and you need a car to manage to explore it. The best part of Corfu island in our opinion is Paleokastritsa! #myhiddengems Incredibly quiet, crystal clear waters and warm as well, sandy beaches, hot weather. Our Airbnb was on a steep hill, but it was alright as we had an incredible view from the balcony. Paleokastritsa is definitely a destination my partner and I will visit one day again. #holidayseason Last month as a gift to ourselves, my fiancé and I went to Chamonix in France to visit the Alps. It was an incredible experience. 📍Address: Chamonix, France 💞Reasons to Recommend: If you love snowy experiences and love exploring new destinations, you should visit! The lift ticket needs to be pre-booked in advance and it costs between 50-65 euros depending on the day and what time you book it. I recommend you look in advance and see when you can visit as there is also a chance if the tickets being sold out. #myhiddengems Make sure to bring a good camera with yourself and warm clothes as this is nearly 5000m high. We ended up spending nearly three hours up there before deciding to take the lift down. There are couple of coffee shops, so you can purchase food and drinks if you don't manage to bring your own. #2024mapped This summer 🌞 my friend and I went to Margate beach on a day trip. We took National Express from London Victoria coach station and we were there in roughly about 2,50 hours. We ended up walking from Margate beach all the way to Broadstairs beach. Two hours walk! Scouting for the perf etc beach location to settle and enjoy the beach. It was full of emotions, extremely hot 🔥 and fun. #2024mapped This year our visit to Paris was wild. 📍Address: 68 Bd de Clichy, 75018 Paris, France When we booked the hotel through one of the travelling websites we thought it was adorable 😍 and worth the money. On the day of our arrival, when we got off the train we made our way towards the hotel. #myhiddengems The streets we had to pass... The shops we saw. So many things that cannot be unseen anymore.... Streets and streets full of sex shops only.!!!! We were taken back and not expecting this. Apart from this uncomfortable 😣 shops/other places, the hotel was truly amazing. It did not give off that kind of vibe therefore I am not sure why it is located in such a location. The hotel seems pretty modern and decent, for a price we had buffet breakfast 🥞 and of course as it is in Paris, France they focus on their croissants 😂😆. Playa de Palma, located on the other side of the island. We took a bus from the city Palma to there and enjoyed clean, sandy beach, with lots of sunshine duuuh. #myhiddengems Almost no tourists, therefore it was not overcrowded like the beaches near Palma city are. I took a walk in the town centre and autumn 🍁 vibes it gave were mesmerising. All the locals seemed to be busy with their own daily tasks, apart from one person whom I spotted to be taking photos of pigeons. P.S. I did confirm with the person if it was OK to post their photo. She agreed!! Apparently, pigeons in this country symbolise love Now I understand why she was taking endless photos of them. After the walk, I went to take a walk near the river Dunabe, where the sunrise was lovely. You can take a walk down the lake where you will see stunning and beautiful planted flowers 🌺🌹. #skiseason this famous and popular ski resort is easily reachable. it is located in the small, lovely, beautiful village Chamonix in France. if you are not in France, don't fret, you can visit it from Italy or even Switzerland. my partner and I visited it from Switzerland, Geneva.
