Great little spot
I tend to have early mornings on some days and prefer a good brekkie. It's one of the few places that open early enough for me to do this. Thankfully the food and coffee are of a great standard. While the decor isn't amazing, service is pleasant and I can always get a table.
The staff are always lovely, the quality of the food is always top notch and the portion sizes very generous. Love that patrons can choose whether to sit on the dark side or light side of the cafe. There’s an option for everyone, also whether you want a table or a coveted couch. If you access it via the lift in the building, it is wheelchair friendly too.

Superb cafe
This is a stunning little cafe in the heart of Wellington! Lovely service and delicious food and coffee. Honestly i cannot see myself disliking it for any possible reason on the planet. From start to finish, visits to this spot have been delightful.
They use the best oat milk, that's really good!
Coffee is nice and strong: good! Other than that, service was pretty slow. Food would be an option to try later on a quieter morning maybe. Highly recommended and each bite here is worth every penny spent on it.

One of the best coffees
Wellington has good cafes but I'd say New Chapter is a great one. Barista was very friendly and the place overall had a great vibe. Greeting every customer by name, running them their takeaway coffees instead of yelling a name across the store, everyone was smiling.
And of course, a great coffee and a good price. So if you're in the mood for a good espresso or filter, new chapter can be a good spot. My americano was really tasty. Flavours reminded of fruit and nut dark chocolate with just a touch of berry.

Best pricing
The service is fast and the quality of the coffees are always amazing! Genuine and authentic vibes all around. The people working are wonderful, respectful and always greet you with a genuine presence. The quality is even better than many cafes which charge you much more than they do.
I am then impressed by their "bring your own cup" option, which would cost you a dollar less. The coffee is well made brilliantly and is reasonably priced. They have a number of different additions if require something less ordinary, including the on trend Tumeric Lattes.

Good local cafe
Pretty popular with locals and had great brunch options..Order your coffee over a small central bar filled with snack options from moreishly filling donuts, salted caramel cookies and brownie, to simply tomato and cheese or filled rolls. A sandwich press ensures you’ll delight in any savoury baked good.
The coffee is superb. Brilliantly poured crema with perfectly stretched milk. Decaf options are available, and if you need a sweet hot go for a well made mocha! Overall, this is a place that deserves your money.

Wellington Day Out: Nature and Nightlife
Wellington offers the perfect blend of tranquillity and excitement, all in one day. My visit to the city began with a peaceful stroll through the Wellington Botanic Garden, where lush greenery and vibrant flowers painted the landscape. The serene pathways led me to scenic views over the city, and the begonia house was a delightful burst of colour. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or just seeking some calm, this garden is a must-see oasis in the heart of the city.
As night fell, I headed to Library Bar on Courtenay Place, a hidden gem offering an intimate atmosphere. Shelves lined with books create a cosy, vintage vibe, while the cocktails were crafted to perfection. The menu featured creative mixes, and the lively yet relaxed energy made it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring.
Wellington’s ability to offer both nature’s tranquillity and the city’s vibrant nightlife is what makes it truly special. My day there left me refreshed and entertained, proving that this city knows how to balance the best of both worlds. #newzealand #wellington #relaxation #travel

This was my first time ever to travel to Wellington, all other previous trips to Nz was to Auckland only so finally seeing a different of NZ was a fresh experience. Not as big as Akl airport but it’s still big compared to my home airport (Fiji) and I couldnt help but admire all the goodies they had at the airport!

The Historic Cable Car In Wellington
When you are in Wellington, New Zealand for a holiday you have to go to historic cable car via the Lambton Quay Terminal where this cable car will bring you along tunnels and bridges thru the 4 other stations.
The cable car has been operating since 1902 but of course this had been revamped and improved since this has become one of the most visited attraction in Wellington as this cable car brings you up to the Kelburn Terminal where you will be able to have a scenic panoramic view of the city of Wellington from the summit where you will also have access to the cable car musuem and the botanical Gardens.
Also, if you realise around Wellington you will see key chains and souvenirs selling the reddish cable car, as this has now been the iconic attraction in Wellington.

Cable Car in Wellington
Such a unique experience to try the cable car in Wellington. A return ticket cost only 12 dollars and there is a spectacular view over the whole city. There is a small cable car museum, a botanic garden at the top and a Victorian Parfumery. You can have a lunch, dinner in the eatery located just outside the top end of the cable car stop. I really recommend to go up there!#cablecar #wellington#newzealand
