Natural cave on the beach!
When I first learned about the cave, I saw surprised to learn how close it is to my hotel! In the little town nearby there are beautiful hotels, amazing beaches and so many restaurants to choose from!
Finding the cave wasn’t that easy but I will share the location for your convenience. There is a small carpark and then a shuttle takes you down to the beach. The beach is quiet and leads directly to the cave.

The early bird catches the sunrise!

This is an early morning sunrise, after camping on the beach for the night on the qingshuiwan beach in Lingshui. The awesome thing about the beach is, it’s clean, big , has some trees to shelter from the sun and ablution facilities are a short walk away. Sunrise started just after 05:30 in the morning.

These were taken on the famous monkey island in Lingshui. There are a few hundred monkeys ranging in size and breed. They are used to people and taking photos of them is easy. They have their own swimming pool too! I never knew monkeys like to swim unit I saw it with my own eyes!
🏎 Getting there from Lingshui station is 18 km, and 48 km from Yalongwan station. It is also only 15 km from qingshuiwan beach!

A hidden gem in Sanya!
Sanya is a vast area to cover, with massive tourist attractions to tiny villages. A lot has been published by online personalities but his particular location hasn’t been!
Quiet enough for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Hotels overlooking the ocean with jacuzzi’s and bathtubs watching the sunset in the comfort of your own space, what more can you ask for?

An island off the main island!
A bucket-list location to every photographer in Hainan! This is called Boundary island. It’s literally on the boarder between Lingshui and Wanning but falls under Lingshui county.
On the island there are many bungalows to rent, coffee shops, restaurants, a dolphin show and a lot of water-sports.
Diving just off the island there is an underwater world stacked with statues and other items for divers to see. The water is clear and divers have great visibility!
The photos were taken at the back end of the island, a have to visit spot for beautiful sunrise photos!

Little Bali village in Hainan is a great place to visit for the day! It’s a great imitation of Bali.
There are many information boards at the entrance showing the history of cooperation with Bali for coco trees, coffee and other trades.
👗traditional Balinese dresses can be rented or purchased for beautiful photos.
🥨 Locally made snacks can be enjoyed under the lush trees with a cup of coffee or fresh coconut
The famous gate was also imitated.

THE ONLY place you have to visit
Houhai village is THE ONLY place you have to visit when visiting Hainan! Originally it used to be a village inhabited by locals, as the years went by, the hotels bought the properties up and developed the area. Now there are many beach bars with swimmpngpools overlooking the bay, nightclubs and a lot of restaurants selling food from all over China. The car parking is outside the village and the only way to move to and from in the village is by foot, which is fantastic as you don’t need to worry about traffic.

A peek into history, what stories can the walls tell?
This was a funny story! I looked online for abandoned buildings in Hainan, and found this gem! Upon arrival the first time I was denied entry as they are planning to restore the building as it was classified as a historical site. Returning one year later, the local vilagers told me the project has been stopped until further notice and I can enter the building for photos.
What I saw is the most beautiful arches, overgrown stairs and the perfect contrast for the lens! I should have taken people with for portraits but I am glad to share the location with you to take stunning photos!

Hiratsuka General Park
The Hiratsuka General Park is one of the popular destinations in Hiratsuka. A lot of tourists and locals gather here on holidays. There are various sport and recreation facilities here -- a red roof playground, a roller coaster, a climbing tree, a petting zoo, and a Japanese garden. There are more than 100,000 trees of 230 kinds grown inside the park, too!
The park is also home to the J-League professional football team, the Eastern League professional baseball team and the B-League professional basketball team. Enjoy your holidays here!

Panoramic view of Mt. Fuji (fall edition)
This is Mt. Tenjo, one of the best spots to catch a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchi Lake. Mount Tenjo is located on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, an easy 10-15 minute walk from Kawaguchiko station. To reach the top, you can take the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway on a short 3-minute ride from Kawaguchiko-han Station up to Fujimidai Station. You can also hike which takes approximately 45 minutes. You can see statues of a rabbit and a raccoon dog around the area, there is also a bell where you can make a wish.
Note: The ropeway is open daily from 9 a.m. (9:30 a.m. from December to February), with departures every 5-10 minutes. A round trip is ¥800 for adults and ¥400 for children, or one-way tickets are available for ¥450 and ¥230 respectively. (from the website)

The Stone Gate and the Five-Storied Pagoda
The tori gate in front of the shrine dates from 1618.
After passing through the Tori Gate, you will see the Five-Storied Pagoda.
The first Five-Storied Pagoda was built in 1648 but was destroyed by fire in 1815. The current pagoda dates from 1818 and is an Important Cultural Property.
Getting there:
Take the World Heritage Sightseeing bus from bus stop 1B outside JR Nikko Station or 2B outside Tobu Nikko Station.
You have to do a lot of walking if you miss the bus. This place is a nice fall getaway tho.

Wild House Café - cool music to relax 🇨🇳
Three days in Moganshan Town 莫干山镇 - three times come here. It is probably the best place for a great coffee or snack in a well designed environment. Every detail is so cool and cute. And yes all the plants are real! There is a patio and inside rooms giving you a feeling of being in the countryside.
We stayed here for a couple of hours surfing the internet and reading a book. Our baby fell asleep and we all had a nice relax.

Siyan Guesthouse - above the clouds 🇨🇳
Today we stay at home stay guesthouse. It is outside the village and surrounded by bamboo forest and tea plantations. The view from our balcony on the 3rd floor is stunning (photo 5&6)
The big room has 45 square meters and sleeps 3 adults and of course our baby. (Photos 3&4)
For last day of October the temperature is quite warm. So I tried the pool. (Photo 1&7) It was quite refreshing and relaxing to swim！
Since it is a bit remote and difficult to find a taxi the owner offered us to drive to Moganshan town for free!
Nearby there isn’t much of restaurants but a bus stop. Address -

Golden Mountain in South Korea 🇰🇷
#fallingforfall 🍂 Trust me when I say less than 10% Malaysian has discovered this place in South Korea. Let’s do something out of the typical itinerary.
This is Seoraksan Mountain, one of the three highest peaks in South Korea. It is located in Sokcho-si. It is suitable for all ages as you can take a cable car ride around 10 minutes to the top of the mountain.
It’s only around 3 hours driving from Seoul and you will find yourself in this golden heaven especially for someone who travel in the autumn. Those pictures I took myself during this year mid-autumn.
Make sure to put this in your itinerary next time you are planning to go to South Korea.

Getting there - Flight to Krabi or Phuket. The resort provides joined and private transfer service from both Krabi and Phuket, or could use outside ferry transfee for a better deal. We stayed 2 nights at Railay, tranfered via Krabi Pier to SAii and returned through Phuket. Just needs a bit of advance booking. Definitely suggest at least 2 nights as the place is quite isolated, a bit of travel.

Getting There - Gainesville, Florida 🇺🇸 you need to have a car 🚗 to reach to this place- you can rent a kayak for $30 ( few hours) once there:)
Attractions - the best areas to go kayaking in Gainesville is Lake Forest. only seven minutes away from downtown.
Hotels- there are many inns and Hyatt around Gainesville - however, I will suggest you to get an hotel in town (Gainesville)
Food & Restaurants - BBQ and sandwich shops - we love to stop at pit bbq to get ribs and sandwiches!
Best time to go is probably around September- May!
Tips: be aware of alligators and carry sunscreen and water with you! it is very hot place!also bring an hat!

Samila Beach: Nice Area and shops.
Samila beach in Songkhla is a nice place to walk either on the beach itself or on the small streets besides, which include several restaurants, pubs, and shops. There is a golden mermaid statue where lots of tourists go to take pictures. While the beach is nice, it depends where you are travelling from because Thailand has lots of great beaches so if you want the best then you are more likely to find something better in Phuket instead, in part because the water in Songkhla is not as clear. But for this area of Thailand I found Songkhla to be well taken care of with many flowers, shrubs, and plants. It's a nice place for a relaxing afternoon.

Take a Walk is a perfect destination for a family picnic and outting. 🛖As you walk through a small alley, you will find yourself walking into a fairytale about to begin. Coming here is a full day out, you have to get on the number 118 highway towards Chiang Rai. Suggest a stop at Doi Saket Hot Spring for a Thai-onsen experience, a massage and eat at Take a walk. Perfect day out 🌈

The views are spectacular, both of the Matterhorn and other mountain peaks. The ride in the cogwheel railway is an interesting experience in and by itself, with several stops during the 35 minute journey.

Holiday and Christmas Wonderland in Discovery Bay
Discovery Bay is at the northeastern coast of Lantau Island. It transformed into a wonderland featuring a European joyous atmosphere in 2022, festive decorations embellish every corner! Christmas Sunday Markets in December invited visitors to browse a wide array of Christmas-themed merchandise. Visitors immersed in festive music and elevating dance performance while enjoying the relax and open environment.
Discovery Bay Ice Rink is a new destination in Discovery Bay. During Christmas, it held Christmas events such as figure skating show and speed skating practice.
At the Discovery Bay North Tower, there was a 10-metre tall giant Christmas tree. Winter snow falling from the sky during weekends for few minutes creating a white Chirstmas.
Just a little walk to the coast, it is the love lock promenade. It is a nice location taking photos at night there with hearts in red and golden colours.
Food and beverages, supermarket and retail shops are available in both parts of Discovery Bay. Visitors can choose to dine in the restaurants or order takeaway and enjoy the food at the open table.
If you want an inspiring retreat, you can just take a ferry or MTR trip/ bus ride to the Discovery Bay during weekdays and weekends.

Celebrated this Christmas and New Year in the wonderfully decorated Maritime Square in Tsing Yi. The wonderful at the atrium near the main entrance of Maritime Square was filled with local toys and homegrown figures, cartoon characters, manga superheros etc...
Maritime Square is a mega shopping mall consists of Maritime Square One and Maritime Sqaure Two in Tsing Yi connected to MTR Tsing Yi Station, public bus Terminus, taxi station etc. The mall has also equipped with a cinema apart from various retailers and restaurants.
Shopping experience is further enhanced by the green balcony and roof garden at Maritime Square Two. Shoppers and visitors can have a taste of relaxed ambience while spending time in the shopping mall.
