Chasing Peaks & Peace in Linth Valley 🌄✨
Just spent the day hiking through the breathtaking landscapes of Linth! 🌲⛰️
The crisp mountain air, lush green valleys, and sparkling rivers made every step worth it.
There’s something magical about being surrounded by nature and disconnecting from the everyday hustle.
Already planning my next trip back to explore more of this hidden gem! 🏞️ #LinthValley #NatureLovers #HikingAdventures #SwissAlps #OutdoorEscapes
Grassland of Lauterbrunnen ❤️🗺️
#grassland
Exploring the grasslands of Lauterbrunnen was like walking through a postcard! 🌄 Nestled in the Swiss Alps, this valley is one of the most stunning places I’ve ever visited. The grasslands are surrounded by towering cliffs, with waterfalls cascading down from above, creating a magical atmosphere. The most famous is *Staubbach Falls*, which is breathtaking, especially on a sunny day when the mist catches the light.
The best part? It’s free to wander around and soak in the natural beauty. I spent hours walking through the meadows, taking in the wildflowers and the sound of the waterfalls. The view of the valley with the charming village of Lauterbrunnen in the distance is simply unforgettable. For a closer look, I hiked up to *Trümmelbach Falls*, a series of impressive waterfalls hidden inside the mountain. It’s a small fee to enter, around 12 CHF, but totally worth it to see the power of the water up close.
Nearby, the *Schilthorn* is a must-visit for James Bond fans – it’s where they filmed “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” The cable car ride up is a bit pricey, but the 360-degree view from the top is out of this world! The entire area is also a gateway to some fantastic hiking trails, like the route to *Mürren*, a car-free village that feels like something out of a fairy tale.
Overall, Lauterbrunnen’s grasslands offer a perfect mix of adventure, tranquility, and stunning scenery. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left. 🌼 #trip #SwissAlps #LauterbrunnenValley #NatureLovers #HikingParadise #WaterfallWonder
Top of Europe 🗺️
#myhiddengems
Visiting Jungfraujoch, the “Top of Europe,” was an absolute highlight of my trip to Switzerland! 🏔️🚞 Located high up in the Swiss Alps, reaching this stunning spot was an adventure in itself. I took the scenic train ride from Interlaken, which cost around 210 CHF, but the breathtaking views along the way made it worth every cent. As we climbed higher, the landscape transformed from lush green meadows to snow-covered peaks. Stepping out at 3,454 meters above sea level was like entering a winter wonderland! ❄️🌨️
The Ice Palace was my first stop, where I walked through tunnels carved entirely out of ice, featuring beautiful ice sculptures that shimmered under the lights. Then I made my way to the Sphinx Observatory. The panoramic views from there were absolutely mind-blowing—you could see Aletsch Glacier stretching far into the distance and the peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains. 🌄🗻 It felt like being on top of the world! And don’t forget to visit the “Alpine Sensation” exhibit; it gives a fascinating insight into the history of the Jungfrau Railway and the construction of this high-altitude marvel.
Afterward, I grabbed lunch at the restaurant on-site, enjoying a hot chocolate with a view of the mountains. 🌭☕ And before heading back down, I couldn’t resist stepping out onto the snow to take some photos. It was chilly, but the fresh mountain air was invigorating. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Switzerland, make sure to put Jungfraujoch on your list. #trip #Jungfraujoch #TopOfEurope #SwissAlps #MountainViews #BucketListAdventure

The Beautiful Swiss Alps
When winter descends upon the Swiss Alps, a magical transformation takes place, turning this iconic mountain range into a breathtaking winter wonderland. As the first snowflakes delicately fall, the entire alpine region undergoes a mesmerizing metamorphosis. The peaks, including the legendary Matterhorn and Eiger, wear a sparkling coat of snow, creating a postcard-perfect scene.
Perhaps the most enchanting aspect of winter in the Swiss Alps is the serene silence that descends with the snow. The absence of sound, except for the occasional crunch of snow underfoot, creates a tranquil ambiance, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the peaceful embrace of the mountains.

Birthday in the Alps ❄️🗻
Spent my birthday up in the mountains of Titlis in Engelberg! With my Swiss Travel Pass, the journey up was 50% off! Totes worth it! 💸 The trip up on the cable car was stunning - seeing the views as we ascend. Afterwards switching to the 360 rotating gondola which offered us even more views from high up! 😍
Tried every experience that we could - from the Glacier Cave to the Cliff Walk to the Ice Flyer. Even took home the printed touristy pics for the fridge 😜 The restaurant above served an abundance of Halal food which my family and I thoroughly enjoyed with the view of the clouds 😋🍛
Already planning another trip when it’s slightly warmer to be able to do more activities! Titlis is the top destination for me when it comes to the Swiss Alps! 💯 #Travel #birthday #swissalps #switzerland #titlis

Zermatt Matterhorn🇨🇭
Breathtaking scenery! Their cheese fondue are so good, will definitely recommend!
Zermatt is located in Swiss Alps at the foot of the Matterhorn. You are able to see the iconic pyramidal peak, the Matterhorn! It is definitely worth visiting as there are abundance of things to do.
We stayed at hotel Derby in the heart of Zermatt. It is clean and the location is perfect. The breakfast was okay too with the usual bread, hams, milk etc. We were given a lovely room with a very huge balcony! The building and rooms are made of wooden architecture giving a cabin feel which I very like. The reception staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, she share with us where we can go since it’s our first time here in Zermatt.

Wake me up when October ends
It was a rush decision when I made a booking on this hotel. I was supposed to stay for an overnight at Lauterbrunnen but since I’m on a budget, I chose the cheapest one. Thinking that Wengen is just few minutes away from Lauterbrunnen via train.
When I got there, I was a bit scared of the deafening silence of that town. I guess it was already 7 or 8 pm. But the short hair receptionist welcomed me with her beautiful smile. She assured that the town is safe to walk at that time.
The hotel is a bit old but well maintained. I like the piano, the creepy yet fascinating lift, the funny double doors which I lately realised and the breathtaking view from my balcony. I couldn’t ask for more, and it’s very homy. Seems like I’m just in my vintage room and not in a hotel. #switzerland #hotelfalken # hotel #swissalps #morningview #balconyview #wengen #fallingforfall #mountainview #swiss
The Mountain Pass Of Kleine Scheidegg
Switzerland is a place with many breathtaking scenic views of tall mountains where it can be really cold during the winter time, and roads might even be close due to the entire place being blanketed with snow.
The best time to visit is around August - November where the weather is cold but not freezing cold. We did a roadtrip and went pass the Kleine Scheidegg which is also said to be one of the highest mountain passes in Bernese Oberland with views of the Swiss alps.
Also, don't forget to stop by Wengen, a small village located right at the base of the popular jungfrau mountain where people would normally take the cable car up towards the jungfrau summit

“An unforgettable adventure to Mount Titlis in Switzerland! I experienced the thrill of the Rotair, the world’s first revolving cable car, which offered stunning 360° views of the snow-capped Alps. Mount Pilatus🇨🇭🏔️
Mount Pilatus with a height of 2128m offers spectacular 360 views over Central Switzerland.Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, the breathtaking views up there never disappoint.
Take a ride on the world’s steepest cogwheel train from Alpnachstad or enjoy the stunning cable car views on your ascent from Kriens.
The trip from Lucerne to Mount Pilatus is referred as Golden Round Trip. Here’s an overview of this trip:
Boat (To Alpnachstad) → Cogwheel (From Alpnachstad to Pilatus Kulm Up the Mountain) → Aerial Cableway (From Pilatus Kulm to Fräkmüntegg Down the Mountain) → Panorama Gondola (From Fräkmüntegg to Kriens Down the Mountain) → Bus (Back to Lucerne).
However, keep in mind that these trips are only possible from around mid/late May to mid October, as this is when the cogwheel and boat (more on that below) are operating.
If you have Swiss travel pass , tickets are included in that.
Once you get off the cogwheel or aerial cableway, you’ll immediately get incredible views of the area. These views alone are breathtaking. However, if you’d like to get to a slightly higher viewpoint, do a climb up a few flights of stairs to one of the observation decks.
There are two observation decks at Mount Pilatus. The one we climbed up is on the Oberhaupt peak. From this lookout, you can see Lucerne and the surrounding lakes and mountains, as well as Klimsenkapelle – a tiny chapel set on what is probably the most scenic plot of land ever. The other lookout spot is on the Esel peak, which also offers views of Lucerne and the gorgeous surrounding landscape.
Mt Pilatus is just breathtakingly beautiful!🙌Words can’t describe how amazing this place is we don’t ever want to leave!

Lucerne-the gem of Switzerland🌈
Not every place can be explored in a one day, but Lucerne is the ideal size for this kind of quick trip. You won’t have any trouble seeing the finest of Lucerne in your limited time there. The best things to do in Lucerne explore a variety of the city’s aspects & beautiful lake lucerne.
We started early in the morning,we travelled from Engelberg to Lucerne. Our first stop was at the iconic Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) over the Reuss River. The little tower was built before the bridge and was used as a treasury, prison, and torture chamber. It is not currently open to the public.
Then we headed towards lakeside for panoramic sightseeing cruise on Lake Lucerne. The best part if you have Swiss Travel Pass, all these are covered by it, which means it's free of charge and you don't have to pay any single cents. While enjoying beautiful view of lake & Swiss alps, you can order and purchase drinks and snacks from the onboard bar.
Overall it was wonderful experience in Lucerne & I would highly recommend cruise on lake Lucerne.

🇨🇭Exploring Top of Europe - Jungfraujoch
#wheretogo
Jungfraujoch is a high-altitude saddle in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland. It is known as the “Top of Europe” due to its elevation and stunning natural attractions.
🚂 The Journey Begins 🚂
Your journey to Jungfraujoch typically starts in Interlaken, a picturesque town that acts as a gateway to this alpine wonderland. The ride alone is an enchanting experience as you wind through valleys and quaint villages. 🏞️ Swiss pass and Berner Oberland pass covers this train ride!
🌟 The Highest Railway Station in Europe 🌟
As you approach Kleine Scheidegg, you’ll transfer to a cogwheel railway, the final leg of your ascent to Jungfraujoch. This railway journey takes you to the highest railway station in Europe, and the views along the way are nothing short of mesmerizing. The Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks reveal themselves in all their glory, and the anticipation of reaching the summit is palpable. 🏔️ Do take note that you’ll have to pay for the cogwheel railway! ❄️ An Alpine Wonderland ❄️
Once you step off the train, you’ll find yourself in a world of pure white. The Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in Europe, stretches out before you like an endless, glistening expanse. But the adventure doesn’t end there! 🏰❄️ Here’s what you can find at Jungfraujoch:
