Why you should visit Ao Namao beach in low tide
First thing to do at the beach is surely swimming and sunbathing but Ao Namao is a peculiar beach that I like even better during low tide when it's impossible to swim there.
First of all, Ao Namao is a great spot to watch a sunset.
Second of all, during low tide you can witness old fossilized shells and learn quite some about geological facts of this area.
There is a mangrove forest and I love walking there which is possible only during low tide.
Beach is serene and tranquil during low tides and always provides stunning views of picturesque rick formations of Krabi province.
#beachtime #krabi #thailand
Focus on: Krabi
One of my favorite beaches in Krabi is Khlong Muang beach. I adore it for clear and calm water, soft sand, shade provided by massive trees right by the waterline and because it is very quiet and there's never a crowd.
This beach is on a chill side and perfect to escape busy Ao Nang. There are a couple of restaurants at Khlong Muang beach and all necessary infrastructure nearby for a perfect day of relaxation.
Pro tip: come during high tide cause water will roll off loooong way during low tide (same as at the most Krabi beaches).

Temple Hopping in Chiang Mai
#getgoing2025
Temple hopping in Chiang Mai felt like a spiritual journey through time. Each temple, whether it was Wat Phra That Doi Suthep or Wat Chedi Luang, had its own unique energy. The golden statues, intricate carvings, and peaceful courtyards all seemed to hold centuries of stories. I sat in quiet reflection at the top of Doi Suthep, overlooking the city, feeling a deep connection to the place. The serenity and the beauty of these temples offered a sense of peace I hadn’t expected. It’s a must-do for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the spiritual heart of Chiang Mai.

White Temple Chiang Rai: A Stunning Masterpiece
#getgoing2025
The White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) in Chiang Rai is unlike any temple I’ve ever seen. The pure white color of the structure, with its intricate details, left me in awe. The temple tells a modern story through surrealist art, with murals depicting scenes from pop culture alongside traditional Buddhist themes. As I walked through the complex, I felt like I was part of a living piece of art, and the whole place had a magical, otherworldly feel. It was an experience that challenged my understanding of both art and spirituality—an unforgettable journey through creativity and culture.

Phuket Old Town: A Step Back in Time
#getgoing2025
Wandering through Phuket Old Town was like taking a step back in time. The Sino-Portuguese architecture, with its pastel-colored buildings and vibrant street art, gave the place an undeniable charm. I spent hours strolling through the narrow lanes, savoring the local snacks—dim sum that tasted like it came from a family recipe passed down for generations. The street murals tell stories of the town’s rich heritage, and the old mansions whisper tales of the past. Phuket Old Town is a hidden gem, where history and culture linger in every corner.

Blue Temple Chiang Rai: A Burst of Color and Serenity
#getgoing2025
The Blue Temple, or Wat Rong Suea Ten, was a delightful surprise. Nestled in the hills of Chiang Rai, it’s a serene escape from the more tourist-heavy attractions. The vivid blue color of the temple’s exterior catches your eye from a distance, but it’s the intricate details inside that truly take your breath away. The murals are rich with symbolism, and the massive white Buddha statue sitting inside is a vision of tranquility. It’s not as crowded as other temples, so you can take your time soaking in the beauty and the peaceful atmosphere of this stunning place.

The Venezia at Hua Hin Thailand 🇹🇭
#newyearnewtrip #thailand #huahin
Just as the name suggests, this place is an adaptation of Venice. It is solely a park for locals and tourist to take pictures!
This is very nice for people who cannot currently afford to go to Europe but would love to take pictures with european architecture.
They also have an upside down museum to take pictures in. You can also ride a boat as you would in Venice. The place is quite big and it is definitely a great find in the city of Hua Hin outside of their beach.

Mueang Boran Ancient City: A Journey Through Time
#getgoing2025
Mueang Boran, the Ancient City, was like walking through a living museum. This vast park showcases replicas of Thailand’s most famous historical sites, and I spent hours exploring the intricate details of each replica. From the majestic temples to the traditional Thai houses, it was like traveling through centuries of Thai history in just a few hours. What struck me the most was how each piece of architecture seemed to tell a story of the people who built it. Muang Boran is a must-visit for anyone interested in Thailand’s rich cultural and architectural heritage.

Chiang Rai 🇹🇭 Temple Tour
A large white Kannon statue can be seen on a hill a short drive from Chiang Rai city. Wat Huai Pla Kang. It seems that you can go inside the Buddha statue by climbing the white stairs. I entered the nine-story pagoda building next to it. After taking off my shoes and going inside, there was a large statue in the middle, and the stairs went around it. First, I put a piece of paper with my name on it on rice, did Tambun (offering to accumulate virtue), and had a sutra read. As I climbed the stairs, various statues were displayed on each floor. The stairs on the last floor were quite steep, and were just big enough for one person to pass through, so be careful of your head and feet when climbing. When I reached the top floor, I could see the giant Kannon Bodhisattva with a calm face from the window. It will make you feel calm, so please try climbing it. ▶︎▶︎553 หมู่ที่ 3 549 หมู่3 Tambon Mae Yao, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai 57100 Thailand

Silver Temple Chiang Mai: A Shimmering Slice of Peace
#getgoing2025
I wasn't expecting to be so blown away by the Silver Temple in Chiang Mai, but wow, it’s something special. The temple itself, covered in intricately detailed silver, looks otherworldly. There’s this stillness as you walk around—something about the reflective surfaces just makes the whole space feel tranquil and serene. I remember wandering through, admiring the craftsmanship, and just soaking up the peaceful vibe. The temple is a beautiful fusion of art and spirituality, and I couldn’t help but feel a deeper connection to Chiang Mai’s cultural roots as I explored it.

Ong Ang Walking Street: The Heartbeat of Bangkok
#getgoing2025
One of my favorite places to explore in Bangkok is Ong Ang Walking Street. It’s this cool little street lined with food stalls, quirky shops, and street arts. It’s where you go to get that authentic, no-frills Bangkok experience. You can try local street food (the satay is a must!), shop for souvenirs, or just people-watch as locals go about their day. There’s something so alive about it, and I can never resist popping by when I’m in the area. It’s one of those places that gives you a real sense of the city’s vibrant energy.

Bangkok Art and Culture Center: A Modern Oasis in the City
#getgoing2025
I don’t think Bangkok gets enough credit for its art scene, but the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC) is definitely a hidden gem. I stumbled in there on a rainy day, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made in the city. The building itself is stunning, with lots of open space and light, and the exhibitions are a mix of contemporary art, performances, and cultural exhibits. The BACC gives you this glimpse into Thailand’s modern artistic culture, and you can really feel the creative energy in the air. Plus, there’s usually a cool café inside to relax after soaking in the art.

Wat Arun: Serenity in Bangkok
#getgoing2025
If you ever find yourself in Bangkok, do yourself a favor and wake up early to catch the sunrise at Wat Arun. I’ll be honest, I was a little groggy getting up before dawn, but the moment I stood by the river and saw that stunning temple light up with the first rays of sunlight, all the tiredness melted away. The intricate details on the temple’s spires glisten as the sun hits them, and there’s this calm atmosphere that just makes you appreciate the moment. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel a little more connected to the city’s history and culture, away from the usual tourist hustle.

📍 Phuket | Karen Beach opens a wonderful day! Karen Beach (also known as Karon Beach) is located on the west coast of Phuket, Thailand, south of Patong Beach and north of Kata Beach. It is one of the three major beaches in Phuket.
The beach is not far from Patong Beach, about 20 kilometers away from Phuket town. The best travel time is from December to April of the following year, when the beach is flat and most suitable for swimming. A Must-Visit Gem in Khao Yai National Park
Hidden within the lush expanse of Khao Yai National Park, Haew Narok Waterfall (น้ำตกเหวนรก) is a breathtaking destination that leaves visitors in awe of its natural beauty. As the tallest and most iconic waterfall in the park, it’s a must-visit for travelers who appreciate the raw power of nature.
The waterfall’s name, which translates to "Hell’s Abyss," might sound intimidating, but the site is nothing short of heavenly. The food here was definitely one of the best in Chiang Mai for me 🤩
They had so many photo spots. The music played was soft R&B, i was so in love. The indoor area was chilly, I just wanted to nap there.
I love the architecture and the design of the whole cafe itself.
Also, the staff were so nice. My phone was out of battery and they helped me charge it 🥰.

There is an entrance fee and you have to ride their truck again to get to the garden.
Also, my boyfriend asked me if the place had white as a dress code because many people were wearing white hahaha 🤣

In search of perfect sunset beach...
Ao Nang Beach in Krabi, Thailand became one of my favorite spots because it is a perfect sunset beach.
Some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen were right there—colors in the sky were incredible, and the calm water made it even more magical. Everyday the colors of the sky were different and always stunning!
It’s a popular spot, so it can get a little crowded, but the atmosphere is still super laid-back. The beach itself is nice, with plenty of places to grab food and drinks nearby.
I really enjoyed just relaxing by the water, and stare into sunset sky!

🟠Phra Buddha Sihing Hall, Chonburi Province
This sacred place is home to Phra Buddha Sihing, the city pillar of Chonburi Province.
🌟Phra Buddha Sihing: His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, King Rama IX, along with Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, presided over the opening ceremony of Phra Buddha Sihing Hall on January 8, 1966.
The Phra Buddha Sihing statue in this hall is made of pure silver and was cast in 1960. It has beautiful features and is the same size as the real one. The real one is enshrined in the National Museum.
🌟 Bodhi Tree of Bodh Gaya: King Rama IX planted it when he visited to open the Phra Buddha Sihing Hall on January 8, 1966, the first and only province.
In every Songkran festival, the Phra Buddha Sihing statue is invited to be paraded around the city for people and tourists to pour water to bring good fortune. Phra Buddha Sihing Hall also holds important Buddhist ceremonies, traditional events, New Year's Eve prayers, and Loi Krathong Day.
✨Phra Buddha Sihing Hall is open for people to pray for good fortune every day. There is a replica of the statue for us to apply gold leaf to. Inside, there are places to buy flowers, incense, and candles. The hall is peaceful and shady, beautiful, and we can take some memorable pictures.

The Baristro Asian Style • คาเฟ่เชียงใหม่
I had a chance to go to Chiang Mai for a One Day Trip, so I had little time to travel. Today, I would like to recommend a cafe near the airport called “The Baristro Asian Style”, a Japanese-style Chiang Mai cafe.
The Baristro Asian Style is a newly opened cafe with a Japanese atmosphere and many photo spots. If you are a photography lover, you must not miss this place.
Of course, the cafe is in a Japanese style. The signature drink menu must be matcha green tea. Today, I ordered the Kiku No Shiro menu with lemon tart, total price 225 baht, which you can use a discount of 80 baht from the entrance fee.
If you come to Chiang Mai, you must not miss this place. It is very worthwhile, both the drinks, the desserts and the atmosphere.

Chiang Mai Night Market: A Feast for the Senses
#getgoing2025
The Chiang Mai Night Market was an experience I won’t soon forget. As soon as the sun began to set, the streets transformed into a vibrant marketplace, filled with the smell of sizzling street food and the sound of traditional Thai music. I tried everything from spicy sausage to sticky rice with mango, and each bite was better than the last. The market also offered beautiful handicrafts and textiles, many of which were made by local artisans. It wasn’t just shopping—it was a cultural experience, a celebration of Chiang Mai’s rich heritage and the kindness of its people.
