Bucket List Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Experience! 🎈Some useful tips!
#magicalxmastrip
Floating above the magical landscapes of Cappadocia is a bucket-list experience, but there are a few things to keep in mind to make the most of it. Here’s your guide to having a perfect hot air balloon adventure!
🌅 1. Wake Up Early
Hot air balloon rides take place at sunrise when the weather conditions are most stable. Be prepared for an early start—pick-ups usually happen around 4–5 AM—but trust me, seeing the sun rise over the fairy chimneys is absolutely worth it.
🎈 2. Choose Your Tour Wisely
When booking your balloon tour, pay attention to two things: the duration and the number of people in the basket. Smaller groups of 16–20 passengers offer a more comfortable and pleasant experience compared to larger baskets with 24+ people. Longer flights (60–90 minutes) will give you extra time to take in the views.
📸 3. Enjoy the View from the Ground
If flying isn’t your thing or the tours are fully booked, watching the balloons from below is still magical. Head to popular spots like Sunset Point in Göreme or the nearby valleys to see dozens of colorful balloons filling the sky—it’s a photographer’s dream.
🥾 4. Dress in Layers
Mornings in Cappadocia can be chilly, even in summer, so wear layers to stay warm. Comfortable shoes are also a must, as the landing area can be uneven.
⭐ Top Tip: Book your balloon ride well in advance—it’s an incredibly popular activity, and spots fill up quickly, especially during peak seasons!
Whether you’re soaring through the sky or admiring the balloons from the ground, Cappadocia’s hot air balloon experience is an unforgettable way to witness the beauty of this stunning region.

When you just have a life Istanbul: Blue Mosque, Gourmet Food, and Night Views.
The Blue Mosque is located very close to Hagia Sophia.
The interior tiles are famously beautiful, but the design of the building itself is also stunning. No matter which angle you take a photo from, it always turns out great, so I ended up taking too many photos, haha.
There are various restaurants near the Blue Mosque, so I recommend visiting the mosque in the morning when there are fewer people and then enjoying lunch nearby. 🥰
No matter what you order in Istanbul, you can't go wrong. It's no wonder it's one of the world's top three cuisines. 🍽️ Personally, I found the lamb chops to be incredibly delicious!

Istanbul: The Crossroads of East and West.
I spent a day visiting Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace to see the Ottoman Empire's palaces and Byzantine architecture.
As I stepped into Hagia Sophia and walked around the building, I couldn't help but feel a strange sensation thinking that the Eastern Roman emperors and Ottoman sultans might have gazed upon this very structure just like I was.
The tiles in the rooms where the sultans' consorts spent their time in Topkapi Palace were absolutely beautiful. Also, the view of the Bosphorus Strait from the café at Topkapi Palace was exceptional, making it a highly recommended spot for a rest. 🥰

Pamukkale: Soaking in Nature’s Beauty Amidst Shallow Hot Springs
#hotsprings #100waysoftravel #turkey #turkiye #pamukkale
We visited Pamukkale in June, eager to experience its famous hot springs and natural terraces. The mineral-rich waters, which flow down the white travertine formations, were beautiful, creating a unique landscape. However, we were a bit disappointed by the shallow water levels in the hot spring pools, making it less relaxing than expected. The area was also quite crowded, which took away from the serene atmosphere we had hoped for. Despite this, Pamukkale offered stunning views, especially of the shimmering terraces against the blue sky, making the visit worthwhile for the incredible scenery alone.

Exploring the Timeless Majesty of Hagia Sophia: A Journey Through Byzantine Splendor
#europeanarchitecture #100waysoftravel #byzantine #hagia_sophia #turkey #turkiye #istanbul #magic_istanbul #turkeytrip #architecture
Visiting Hagia Sophia was an awe-inspiring experience, as I marveled at its magnificent blend of European Byzantine architecture.
Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the vast dome, seemingly floating above the enormous central space, an architectural marvel of its time.
The intricate mosaics, some dating back to the 6th century, showcased the exquisite artistry of the Byzantine period, with their rich gold backgrounds and religious iconography.
Massive columns and arches, adorned with elaborate detailing, reflected the merging of both Roman and Christian influences. Originally built as a cathedral by Emperor Justinian, Hagia Sophia has witnessed a remarkable transformation through history, serving as a mosque and now a museum. Its grandeur, both in scale and design, is a testament to the ingenuity and splendor of Byzantine architecture.
Being there, I could feel the deep layers of history etched into every stone and mosaic, making it one of the most memorable architectural wonders I’ve ever explored.
📌📌Arrive Early to avoid long lines and fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before the crowds arrive.
💃Dress Modestly, as Hagia Sophia is now a mosque again, and respectful attire is required.
‼️Don’t Miss the Mosaics on the upper gallery, as they are some of the finest examples of Byzantine art.
🕰️Take Time to Admire the Dome, a true architectural wonder of the ancient world.
🙏Check Prayer Times, as the site closes to visitors during Islamic prayer sessions.
A stroll at Sultan Ahmet area in Istanbul
The area called after Sultan Ahmet in Istanbul is definitely the most touristy place in the city. The top attractions are the Aghia Sofia and the Blue mosque. Few steps further are the Obelisc, the Hypodrome and the Fountain. Just 5-10 minutes walk from there you can reach the University and all the charming street vendors and little shops among the way.

Healing at Pamukkale Turkiye
I’m a traveller and this is my story at Pamukkale, Turkiye.
Pamukkale is a very popular destination for people who want to visit the historical sites and to explore the ancient city of Cleopatra.
I take a bus from Istanbul & heading to Denizli. From Denizli Bus Station, I take a Dolmuş bus & go to Pamukkale. Hence, I checked in first at my hotel (Ozbay Hotel) that I booked from Trip.com apps.
Next day, I started to explore this ancient city & enjoy the beautiful view from the city.
Will come back again with my family members.
Thank you Pamukkale & thank you Trip.com

Where Asia meets Europe
We had a 4 nights stopover in Istanbul on our way to North America and it was an amazing experience. We stayed in a hotel in old city next to sea side. We walked around the cobalt stone streets, tasted the Türkiye’s cuisine, visited the famous mosque, took a cruise around Bosphorus and travel between Asian and European parts of Istanbul.
