One of must visit wonder in Georgia

Located near to Mount Kazbegi, 2200 meters above sea level the view at the church is magnificent. If you’re planning to visit here for a quick getaway from Tbilisi city, its advisable to take a day tour because they will stop by few other places that considered as must visit in Georgia like Ananuri Fortress and Russia-Georgia Friendship monument. They can also drop you in Gergeti village if you’re planning to stay for few days. If you keen to drive from Tbilisi it will take around 4 hours but you have to be an expert of driving as the road is full with lorry and sometimes sheep too. Its worth to stay for few days too in Gergeti village as you can walk around the village, hike to the church and got to enjoy the view more. Short hiking in Tbilisi

First of all, I recommend you to start hiking from getting to Mother of Georgia. Find steps near Betlemi Chirch and go up ⬆️ After the monument go to the side of Kura river and enjoy the view! Soon you will be next to the next place - Chirch of the St Nicholas. Newly built in 1996–1997, it replaces the original 13th-century church that was destroyed in a fire. Also you will see Narikala fortress. The fortress consists of two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulphur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi. #tbilisi #georgia #campingglamping #nationalpark

Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi

Welcome to the main church not only of Tbilisi, but of the whole of Georgia! 
This church is better known in Georgian as Sameba and was built in 2004 and it is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world and one of the largest religious buildings in the world by total area. The building looks simply colossal and can be seen from almost any hill in Tbilisi. Visiting tips: Church attendance is free, but you must dress appropriately. Tbilisi Funicular Railway

If you like unusual transport and one day find yourself in the capital of Georgia, then be sure to take a ride on the local funicular that goes from the city center to the top of Mtatsminda Mountain. Tips for visiting: to ride the Tbilisi Funicular Railway, you need a 2 GEL plastic card (sold at the ticket office) on which you then add credit for your rides (and any rides in the Mtatsminda amusement park). The funicular train price is 8 GEL (3 USD) from 09:00 till midnight. It was an incredible evening! I took the cable car to the top of Mount Mtatsminda and saw the panorama of the capital of Georgia. Despite the fact that I was already here this morning - now the city looked completely different. The Freedom Bridge, the Presidential Palace and the beautiful backlit Georgian churches looked especially good! Tips for visiting: the cable car operates from 8 am to 10 pm. Mtskheta - the ancient capital of Georgia

A 20-minute drive from Tbilisi is the small town of Mtskheta, which used to be the capital of Georgia and the largest city in the country. Now Mtskheta is a small but very cozy town with beautiful streets and temples. A particularly beautiful view of Mtskheta and the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers opens from the ancient Jvari monastery, which stands on a hill above the city. Amazing days in Tbilisi..

Tbilisi is the Capital of Georgia country . a beautiful city with old town and also modern part. i had amazing days there. old town is great to visit . Abanotubani, is the oldest district of the Capital. Narikala, from fourth century from Persia time is worth to visit. walking up the steep hill from Maidan square and taking photos was also nice for me. there is a big statue of a woman (Mother of Georgia) next to Narikala. there were also other great places which i visited. (Metekhi church), ( Peace Bridge), (Rike park). Tsminda Sameba cathedral is also beautiful for visit and taking photo. in old town i ride a cable tram called ( Funicular). do not forget to have a Georgian traditional food in old town. #celebratewithtrip #trip #tripblazers #tbilisi

The restaurant offers versatile main dish options, side dishes, a variety and desserts and a great range of delicious wine. The place is not pricy at all, especially if you share the meal. The portions are big and filling. The service is amazing: quick and polite. We went there several times for dinner and tried many different dishes. All of them were fantastic and finger-licking. On Fridays and Saturdays you can hear live music which is another brilliant experience of Georgia. They sing Georgian songs and hypnotize you with their voices. I really felt like I was somewhere in the mountains.

Eating my way through Georgia. Highly recommend to visit sulphur baths (I booked for 1,5 hours with the 10min scrub). the most delicious salmon in the city

this restaurant located near to Vake park in Tbilisi. unfortunately I can't find location in Booking.com, but it's name is "Megruli Sakhli", wich means a megrelian house. most of dishes I have tried was delicious, but this Salmon was especially delicious 🤤 so, if u are fish lovers I suggest you to visit this restaurant. The Sameba Cathedral is on the top of a hill in #tbilisi - the capital of the country #georgia . It is an attraction that needs more time - at least few hours. It is different than other sights of Tbilisi and probably it is the main attraction of the whole area. The church is orthodox. #happynewyear
